I noticed that too. 2m for a Jamaican international who only scored 10 goals in Sweden looks like stupid money as that league not in great shape. Then again West ham tried to pay 10m for england U21 international with a few months Premiership experience.Quote:

He is a decent player but not worth £2 million. There is a few cases of players leaving Sweden for Britain in the last few seasons who were all highly regarded as top players in Sweden but have failed to make the grade in Britain; namely Andreas Johannsen (Wigan), Tobias Hysen (Sunderland) and Björn Runström (Fulham). All went to the UK on "big money" deals so if we compared their performance to recent ex. LOI players, ie Doyle (Reading) and Murphy (Sunderland), its pretty obvious that LOI clubs are selling themselves short and Swedish clubs are the bee-knees when it comes to transfer dealings.Quote:

Apparently his registration won't be completed quickly enough for him to feature tonight against Spurs. However, the Irish U-19 player, Simmonds, who they have on loan from Chelsea, will be in the squad.
