Morgan knows what he's doing. If they can just come 4th last he'll spend a few bob but not much. A second year of survival and he'll spend a bit more. Stoke are a good example of sticking to a business plan: get promoted, stay up, consolidate, invest.
Morgan won't break the bank to move 5 or 6 places up the table, and yo-yoing between the Championship and EPL is probably the most profitable strategy for a club owner outside the CL qualifiers.
There is no truth in that truism ;) I think you are mixing up poor refereeing decisions with poor defending. That doesn't balance out - otherwise everyone would end up with near enough the same points.Quote:

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Steven Reid's cameo for West Brom when he came on. Made two excellent sliding tackles and played a couple of nice 1-2's. Could clearly be seen holding his knee after the second tackle but he flew into both tackles and cleanly won the ball. The player we have missed the most. Very unlucky with injuries.

Home to Spurs next, they would take a point there for sure.
They have one of the easiest run-ins aswell. Spurs are the only team in the top 8 they have left to play. Whereas Blackpool still have to play Arsenal, Chelsea, ManU and Spurs.
Although that might not mean much as Wolves have picked up most of their points from teams in the top half :)
Wolves could have won this game 8 - 0 if they could play the final ball. Honestly think doyle should have got in amongst the goals today, he wasn't needed for the donkey running or holding on teh wings, yet he wasn't able score.
Hammill had a good game. O'hara very good, i think he could be the difference between them staying up and not. Hammill and him would be a great addition.

Wolves are hardly out of the danger zone. As I stated previously, West Brom only need to pick up a single point at Stoke tomorrow to send Wolves back into the bottom three.
Good result for Wolves though, love that Jamie O'Hara, he's a top class player, good enough for England in my opinion.

Think the referee made some bad decisions, Spurs should have had at least one player sent off, Gallas was lucky not to be booked twice, and the disallowed goal deserved to be allowed

As I said above when you compare their run-in to some of the other teams around the bottom they have it a bit easier.
Not so sure 40 points will be enough.plus last year bottom was always well off third bottom.these will all take points off eachother
