There was a question earlier on Off The Ball did they know how many of Robbie's goals came in his first 50 games, and how many in the second
I don't have the data for the second 50 games, but I can tell you that he scored 19 goals in his first 50 games, which makes it 24 goals in his second 50 caps.

24 in the last 50! Impressive for a diving cheating moaning crybaby (seriously, what kind of adult offers criticism like that)
It's more or less a ratio of one goal every two games. Fantastic record. I used to be a bit of a reluctant doubter, but Robbie's gone out of his way to prove the doubters wrong in the past few campaigns and has done a pretty good job of it. I dread to imagine where we'd be without him.
Jesus, don't entertain him. You'll draw a fourth out of him if you're not careful!
I can't see him ever retiring either... I reckon as long as he's playing at club level he'll be availible for selection for Ireland.
yeah, the selfish so and so - not allowing others a chance to break on the scene and score 40-odd goals. Caps, caps and more caps, that's all these senior pros care about.
Why would he come if he was not going to get some play time? He doesn't owe the team anything.
Players like Keane, or Aldo for that matter, are not going to turn up at the age of 36, if they are not going to be used on the pitch.
Anyway I think he will age as gracefully as Del Piero.
For the record I wasn't being critical, just passing on the quote...I just want Keane to play as long as he can still make an impact, like Quinn did. If Robbie is still good enough to be our first striker off the bench I'd like him to stick around into his mid-to-late 30s, but like you say, he doesn't owe us anything.
On the bench for Spurs today. He's far too good a player to be fourth place behind Defoe, Crouch, and Pavlychencko. Needs a loan move ASAP.
Keane would of scored any of the number of chances.
Double switch with twenty minutes left, Pavlyuchenko and Keane on for Defoe and Crouch.
Robbie's on now
I would have started Keane today. One great turn and shot from Defoe but he never looked like scoring after that. And "Crouchie" looked out of sorts! Robbie half made that chance for Bale who sliced an open goal wide and really put in some effort today. I was very impressed with his closing down play.
Thankfully I don't give a hoot what you think http://bit.ly/9eC6Pj
;)
USD22 for a Yapsteritis mug? Probably it chips itself.
Disappointingly, Robbie only makes the bench again for Spurs against Young Boys Bern tonight: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/foot...pe/8921842.stm
Quote:
YOUNG BOYS v TOTTENHAM LINE-UPS:
Young Boys: Wolfli, Sutter, Spycher, Affolter, Jemal, Lulic, Tape Doubai, Degen, Hochstrasser, Costanzo, Bienvenu.
Subs: Burki, Marco Schneuwly, De Pierro, Christian Schneuwly, Raimondi, Regazzoni, Mayuka.
Tottenham: Gomes, Corluka, Dawson, Bassong, Assou-Ekotto, Giovani, Palacios, Modric, Bale, Pavlyuchenko, Defoe.
Subs: Cudicini, Kaboul, Huddlestone, Lennon, Keane, Crouch, Kranjcar.
Just on now for Defoe 65mins - Hope he is ok with the artifical pitch, can cause injuries, something we dont need with only 3 weeks to the Armenia game!
82 mins - Nice assist (one - two) with Pavluychenko for Spurs 2nd goal
Super touch for the second goal. Has looked very lively since he came on. Spurs have been very poor and are extremely fortunate to be just 3-2 down.
Keane has a smile on his face and seems to be making the best of it, play hard when you get a chance, etc...
Other than that, Why would anyone name that team "Young boys?" I find that disturbing. When the fans are sitting in a pub are they like "I love young boys?" You could get arrested here for that.
Asked this around on a few other boards, Liam Miller played twice for Man United in the Champions League group stages in 2004/2005, both games against Sparta Prague
Still means that Robbie, or Aiden McGeady, can become the first player to score for two clubs in the group stages though.
Young boys play in the Wankdorf stadium. Jesus you couldnt write that.
Yes I though it was spoof article initially. like the Daily Mash or whatever! (like this one)

The co-commentator on yesterdays Spurs game on ESPN said Keane and Joe Jordan had some type of a animated spat on the pitch before the game took place yesterday. Keane should have been a certain starter yesterday considering Arry comments today about certain Spurs players not wanting to play on the astro. And I still think Keane is a better all round player than Defoe.
Do you think Robbie might have been one of the ones to complain?
