well there some cocky shower. although i wasnt there i cant really comment but from the posts here it seems obvious yere goal should not have standed, so to say pike would have went on to win is a bit much because if the ref had done his job correctly then we would not have had a man sent off and would have been 1 up.Quote:

If it was a league match early in the year or one of the smaller cups Pike would probably push for, and get, the fixture. Considering the importance of it a replay is the only outcome that wont result in objections, appeals and counter appeals.

Dom's almost guaranteed to get a ban for his actions,regardless of what happens on a pitch he/his subs bench have absolutely no right to abuse the Referee the way they did. The problem is coming from the role models.
Constant abuse from the likes of Terry, Rooney, Keane in his day,Robbie Keane to name but a few means there is no respect for referees at any level of the game. Not to mention Alex Ferguson who tries to bully referees whereas if this was rugby he would be long gone for disrepute and trying to influence future refereeing decisions.
I have said this before but would it be so hard to follow the rugby example of the Captain being the only one allowed to 'speak' to the referee.?

Managers have to set the example also as barating the referees sets a bad example to all especially players. Again rugby example could be followed...
