Maybe so, but even still I don't see how Rovers playing decent football, competing well and losing means Ireland could be playing decent football and getting the results we are.

Well then I think your agent needs to do a better job because Dos Santos is world class. Voted second-best young player behind (wrongly) Muller of Germany, Eamon Dunphy's favourite player.
Is this the forum my mad alter-ego posts at? I'll have to ask my Mr. Hyde side if he can log in and check it out.
Stephen Rice on Radio One now. Michael Lyster is raving about the Rovers fans. He's obviously not on Twitter.
That was an obvious reply i saw coming a mile off.you came compare rovers a part time organisation against full time top tier football team(s) with an Irish team playing against similar level opposition players playing in the same or lesser leagues.and that's just the most obvious one.
I must save this thread for future use. If I ever have a bad day again, I think I'll just read some of chuckys comments to cheer me up.
You sir, are a credit to Irish people both in Ireland and Glasgow.
Glass houses and stones come to mind, but it seems you're still not taking this "Rovers in Europe" lark very well are you?Quote:

Rabble rabble!
The overwhelming majority of people from both sides at the game last night thought our support was class. The few looking for negatives are the same few with an agenda against our fans, which stretches a long way beyond last night.Quote:

Amazing that rovers supporters are even trying to debate this non-issue with a minority of idiots: either bitter North-Western culchies whose own issues will come to light soon enough or a handful of gypos who can't even muster up a hundred members to save their finally-about-to-die aberration of a club.
Enjoy the trip we're on while it lasts. Why do you even care what a few clowns think?
This forums anti-Rovers bile never ceases.
Rovers fans behaved impeccably again as they did in Modena, Tallinn, Kobenhavn and Belgrade.
has John Delaney's position now bevome untenable? Associating with fascists! What next? :)

Ive removed the posts accusing Rovers fans of being fascist, because its complete nonsense one guy waving in the pic is not proof and another accusing them of singing songs on the way to the ground is just bull**** because the guy who claimed it didn't even go to the game. I'm just back from the game and it was a tremendous atmosphere, Rovers fans did Ireland credit with their support.

I was in the main Rovers section during the match and there was not a hint of racism from the Rovers fans during the match. They sang from start to finish and were applauded at the end by the Tottenham fans. It was a brilliant day and night.
We had hardly left the pub to make our way to the ground, when one guy with a pro-Bohs agenda who spent the day in the pub with us started posting on facebook about this non-event as if it had been a mass manifestation of racism by Rovers fans, when in fact it probably involved at most 5 lads. Apart from being a distortion of the facts, it's also just ****ing two-faced to have spent the day with us and then go away and start spreading **** about all Rovers fans being racists and nazis.
i dont think Rovers fans are fascist by the way - i just think the guy in the photo is a **** and the other one looks like El Gimpo Delaney.
That's the photo I couldn't see in work cause tinypic is blocked. Same clown as the other pic. Link for screenshot below, won't show up as a pic so need to copy and paste link into address bar.

[QUOTE=mypost;1538479]Best quote (from a totally unbiased source :o) : the alledged incident never happened
And the most accurate quote : It did happen but only involved 5 lads
You do realise mypost that you are, in fact, confirming it happened ?
The picture looks debatable, not denying it is real, but it does look odd in some areas.
1) The 2 people on the left seem to have a grey effect on the left side of their head and does not look natural.
2) If you zoom up to the hand of the chap in the yellow shirt, you can see some pixelization above his little finger. It's as though the the chap in yellow is placed in front of the lad in the blue shirt behind him.
3) The lad behind the chap in the yellow shirt, looks like he has a abnormally very long left arm.
4) What is the pint glass behind the 2 people on the left standing on.
My conclusion is the 3 guys on the right are genuine, the chap with the yellow shirt looks like he is placed in front and the 2 on the left were also added to the photo. I am pretty good at editing photos like this and know when things do not look right.
I checked the photo exif metadata using JPEGsnoop and its assessment of the photo is that it has been altered. A better exif reader might tell you more but I've just spent half a lecture checking so I'm not

*Actually ignore this detective work because if the picture has come through Facebook the exif metadata would of been wiped in some way affecting the above result.
