Yes, one of my favourite sports' commentators. To be fair, most of Sky's cricket commentators are excellent but Benaud certainly lead the way for decades on the BBC.Quote:

East Terracer posted this elsewhere, but Ray Treacy passed on yesterday. Sad to lose a real stalwart of Irish football. Saw him play many times and had a number of dealings with him, always a gent. One very funny incident years ago when I was dealing with him in relation to Malta. He had a heap of hilarious stories about the place. Only 68 too.
