Is this meant as a tongue in cheek slant? All players should turn down an offer to play with Rovers as it seems to hugely inflate their offers elswhere, well according to Rovers fans in the know!

Waterford have several players on trial and training with the team at the moment. Seems like Noe Baba and Dessie Hutchinson are signing with rumours of some bigger names.
Nicky Low linked to Larne
That only postpones it for a year!! :D If we can still do a job next year when he's 38, I could see him coming home.
Yeah we're definitely spending a bit more now. I say "we" but realistically it's up to Lee Power what he wants to invest - it's not exactly coming out of club funds. You could call it a gamble, but at this stage I think it would be just naive business not to try to secure European football given the financial rewards there. Last summer, he got Paul Keegan in to help ensure we won promotion and that definitely paid off. This year, we're in a great position in third so I suppose he's speculating a little to accumulate and keep us ahead of Derry and Pat's. If we qualify for Europe, then it'll be well worth it. I know Rovers and Bradley prove that spending doesn't guarantee success, but if a few shrewd signings keep us in line for the Europa League, then it'll be priceless.
Another way of answering is that Waterford still have no money, but Lee Power has a lot. Our aim is to build the club up off the field so that it doesn't completely collapse whenever he leaves.

Owen Garvan gone from Pats
Nicky Low now staying at Derry untill the end of the season.
I'd wonder how much we've offered him.
£1.1k and he doesn’t have to fly in for matches if he doesn’t want to.
Graham Burke going to Preston for €300k according to Mark McCadden in The Star today. They must have the highest amount of Irish players in their squad of any team in England or Scotlan.
That is surprising, I don't think he fits them at all. Good to see fees increasing in general though. Hopefully hes successful and fees can continue to increase.
Hopefully Henry Cameron's recent international cap for NZ will see the offers come rolling for him as well.
With international caps behind him now, and an international goal to his name, is €300k selling themselves short? If the rumoured interest in him does stretch to four or five clubs, and he has 18 months left on his contact, is it too much to suggest that they should be demanding a minimum of €500k?
