They have a better chance of beating Steaua:D

as the european dream comes closer once again, im starting to think that even with european qualification it will have very little impact on the masses. as has been said on another thread more people went to see some liverpool poxy z team against some pub team than went to see the champions of ireland vs champions of austria.
It is not easiest nor not the hardest but they still have to perform at their best to beat them and to do it again, maybe too much for the players.
it be great if it clashed with arsenal vs celtic :D please god, make rte show the match
think about it, how many fans of other loi clubs go to these matches? i reckon most of the added fans were fans from other loi clubs.
if the ties have to be switched do pats have to agree with the home leg been first ? is it not up to steau to make other arrangments with fifa or is it just a case of switching the order ?

Its usually the competition gets priority and then ( this case) the co-efficients of the individual club(s) (eh start of the season UEFA co-efficient, no made-up stuff half-way through the tournament).
The higher ranking team may call the shots especially if they fill a second leg home tie is to their advantage.
But Bucharest is a city filled choc-full of league teams so they are used to big domestic matches been played within few days of each other.
I think its the FAI's responsibility to Advertise and Big up the League Of ireland try and get some major sponsors behind the league .
Just like the GAA have done.
They have Guiness/Vodafone etc all bigging up the All-Ireland championships every year.
Ever see an Ad on TV promoting the league of Ireland ?
but those people who do not follow the LOI , probably have never even heard of MNS.
For me More Advertising and more Live Matches are the way to go.
Have 4 games on a Friday Night , and the live game on the Sunday evening....that way you do not impact on the anyone's attandances.
its a tough thing to do.....................just to many plastics in the country not willing to give the league a chance
