the 5 times would mean something if it was a level playing field, but liverpool win four cups murder some fans so no other english clubs can have a chace of winning any then they brag about being the best  /QUOTE]
Anto, that is a very classy comment.
You really are an ignorant tw#t
Liverpool have actually won it 5 times despite being banned longer than "other English clubs".
Of course by that you mean Everton, 'cos they had the bestest team in the whole wide world at the time of the ban, and were about to go on a decade long domination of the footballing world
I suppose you were one of the inbreds on the Park End chanting "murderers"......I hope you are proud of yourselves.
Some of you Evertonians on this thread really are pathetic. You have just won your second Derby game in 14 or something like that, but by your reaction on Saturday you'd think you had somehow won the f#cking World Cup
Get a life.
Thankfully after the game I was able to socialise and have a pint with some Evertonians who had half a brain.
I have a full brain, but I suppose someone with half a brain would be more on your level.
[QUOTE=Desyf;536286]at the last goodison derby the liverpool fans sung 1 nil to the murderers so they are clearly proud of there past .
in 85 everton where best team in england ,had just won the cup winners cup where widely regarded as the best team in europe and favourites to win the european cup . but we ll never know will we .......why is that ?
nobody is acting like we won the world cup in fact in my first post i say its not something to get worked up about it was only liverpool they couldnt even beat sh. utd and that we have a much harder game tomor v Wigan .
all we are doing is responding to the nasty bitter posts from liverpool fans that cant seem to get over the fact we trashed them 3 nil
[QUOTE=anto1208;536337]Why is that indeed. In 86, when Everton's European Cup escapades would have taken place, Liverpool did the league and cup double, beating everton in the cup final, you'll recall. Now had what happened in Heysel not happened, Liverpool would have won the EC in '85 and been in the comp in 86 as defending champions. Given that history shows we were the best team in England that year, I've no doubt we'd have also won the European cup that year too. Now whisht up.
[QUOTE=anto1208;536337]Irony goes over your head then. More like through it.
If you were at Goodison you would have seen that in fact people were celebrating far too much given that it was only a few games into a long season. A little bit naive I'd say.
I got over it by about the 3rd pint after the game.
You see being a Liverpool fan isn't about winning Derby matches, however enjoyable that is. It's about winning far greater things than that.
You gobsh1tes wouldn't understand though.;)
It's seen as that by those who want to see it that way. The same people who refuse point blank to accept any attempt at an apology, no matter how often or how expressed it is, and simply dismiss it as a crock of shi-te.Quote:

Why would Liverpool have won the game if the disaster hadn't happened? The game was played. Liverpool lost.
For crying out loud, moaning about penalty descisions again?
Lose a game? Try some Red Bull.
Tell me about it, we've been on the wrong end of some shocking decisions for many a year.
Eveton 2- Wigan 2
as predicted this weekends game proved to be a lot harder than last weekends one , dissapointing to throw away the lead twice , its not good enough for a club like everton we could have pushed on past utd and with them loosing been joint top this week .
still plus points AJ scores again thats 5 in 5 and we maintain our unbeaten run .
note : everton are on the box quite a bitover the next two weeks tues in the cup on sky ,then on twice in the next 2 weeks .
