Bruff Utd v Caledonians or Park AFC

What a cruel game Murroe scored the only goal of the game in the last kick of the game in extra time what a sickener just goin to penalties and the match was decided by a great strike to be fair when it fell to the striker when the ball should have been cleared.
The view can have no excuses as they had some great chances, and hitting the post 3 times story of the season really. Murroe had a couple of chances aswell but you could see that one goal was going to decide it. Ref had a shocker never left the game flow at all never witnessed so many frees. Best of luck to Murroe in the final hope ye go on to win it now.

no i agree with him not just cos im from bruff
cals beat us 1-0 last night, the ref donal power should not be left near a pitch again. stopped us playing time and time again. i think he taught he was in the english prem, bottled call after call I know he is only a new ref but what type of refs are teaching him, are they ever going to improve even a little???. I'd have takin anyones worst ref of the year over this ref. on the match cals should have been 2 up at half time there goal came from our keeper dropping the ball. we could not get into the match with the ref stopping us playing at every chance. The two cals front players were very good (lee) and another lad very fast caused us problems all evening. We had one clear cut chance at the very end in injury time but I fluffed it when it was easier to score after being put on a plate by davy wall, On the night cals just wanted it more than us it was a hard fought physical battle and had they showed that determination all season would have been challenging the league. Best of luck to cals in the cup.
Hopefully ye have the same 5 that were back, for the match on sundayhttp://foot.ie/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

Agree with most but Park are not the best team on paper in the league. They have maybe 3 players who are good enough for most teams but unfortunately the younger lads have found out it's a different ball game at this level. Have played them a few times this season and some are way off it. Davy Wall has done a great job but time for him to move on for his own sanity, lads in Park have let him down big time from what I've heard this year. Going to be very difficult to ask the youths to stay on and play 1B when their local rivals are a division ahead or maybe even in the premier next year! Now that would spell the end of Park A!! :D

congrats to jansboro,
We had arranged the night away in Galway weeks ago and I told Davey Wall this when the game was called off in Coonagh last week. Rooms were booked and paid for so certainly werent going to cancel them. Meant nothing in the end thanks to Caherdavins win anyway.
Caherdavin 4 - 1 Pike
Congrats to both Janesboro and Caherdavin.
The above league table is updated but does not include the supposed walk over awarded to Caherdavin from the Holycross game..... if that is the case the Caherdavin are promoted.
Also heard that Pike were missing up to 10 players this morning and played some schoolboys (u-15/u-16's) v Caherdavin, any truth???
dont no if there were up to 10 players missing but there were at least 5 young lads on the team, saying that considine at the bk was at fault for 2 goals, pike were dreadful. Caherdavin played some good football in the final third, and there left winger looked a decent player
Well done to all the boro lads, a great effort from all the players and management.
