i doubt many matches will go ahead this week due to conditions thay awful :(
from next season on, all clubs will be required to enter a water-polo team in all competitions...
haha ya i think so just wana get games finished up anytime soon be nice:)
Is it not time this ridiculous business of travelling to matches that have no chance of going ahead is addressed by the people who are responsible for running the league. Is it an actual rule that a match cannot be cancelled without the referee attending and collecting his reduced fee?Other leagues trust the word of the clubs who elect them to advise if matches have no chance of going ahead!!!

Murroe v Fairview Rgs,
weather holding up ok id say our match with park will go ahead today pitch seems to be holding up well going into this match wit bare 11 as most of our team playing g.a.a tonight:mad: story of our season
Hopefully the Holycross pitch is ok also as we are out there. Weather has been ok today so should be playable.
weather was grand last thursday too untill a heavy "shower" dumped god knows how much rain on top of limerick..one bad shower and the pitches are kaput..
Its that bad??? Wasnt too bad last season when we were out there.
May have spoke too soon. Just after a heavy shower in Dooradoyle.
Im workin in newcastlewest and the rain is pelting down . Cant see our game with the view going ahead . Any report on their pitch guys .
Fairview beating Pike 1-0 in the cup at HT,penalty after a few minutes
result bruff 2-5 caherdavin. match went ahead in the conditions pitch was ok only for the constant rain. missing 6 startin players through g.a.a and couldn't give them a decent game eventhough we went 2-1 up. sloppy defending for 3 headed goals and gave away 2 penalties. any full time score from pike v fairview?
sorry my mistake park not caherdavin we were playing:)

Ya cracking finish too on the volley. Pike put it up to the view to be fair but kept reverting to route 1 long ball every time stewie to hanna every time hard to defend but the defence did well keeping them from getting any real clear cut chances. Pike were on top for a few mins after they equalised. The view gave away too much possession in the second half and made it hard for themselves had a couple of chances to kill the game but stewie pulled off some great saves.
Who have Caherdavin left to play? and when are they playing there last game, if they have 2 left to play??
They are down as having 2 games left to play but as far as I know they were awarded a walk over for their second last game of the season (by Holycross) last week, but this is yet to be confirmed by the LDMC, hence the reason they are only down as having 20 games played and not 21 (for now).
Their last game is at home to Pike Rvs (as per fixtures above).
If Caherdavin do receive the walk over from the game v Holycross and then go on to beat Pike on Sunday morning, they will be promoted, regardless of what the other teams do around them..................
Ah I see..thanks for clearing that up. Come on the Pike ;-)
Well Lads,
Have we any Murroe players or manager on this thread.??????
How is there pitch holding up after all the rain during the week.
Well Gerard what did you make of the game last night ? A great game of football (well I thought anyway) ? Ye were lucky in the end ? I know Stuie pulled off 2 great saves near the end but we should have got extra time out of it. Nice to see a big crowd at it. Think ye'll go on and win it now
I thought it was a very exciting game for the crowd to watch. It was up and down at both ends. And i agree with what MESSI said.If ye had got on with the game ye might have went on to win it although we missed a few handy ones as well.Wat a goal Wesley Fitz got though and to make it worse an ex PIKE man.Murroe will be a tough one away.
Any idea if Murroe are using their new pitch down beyond their old one cos i cant see the pitch by the dressing rooms been playable.
no not using the new one yet
we were told today that the murroe pitch will be playable some of the lads been out working on it. it will be the one near the dressing rooms as the other well the less said the better
there's no grass on it:D:D:D

Also
Spoke to a Caherdavin man tonight and he told me they were already awarded the walk over v Holycross from last week, so if its true, then they'll be promoted if they beat Pike this Sunday.........I havent added in the above table yet though, until I get confirmation.....
Sunday's fixtures you mean? and if what I say above is correct, wouldnt you think the LDMC let the other clubs fighting for promotion know exactly where they stand..........Surely they'll have the decision made about the walk over before this weekend's games.......................
They probably wont though knowing them.............bit of a joke really.
Janesboro 1 Bruff
Coonagh 2 Park
Caherdavin 1 Pike
i wonder wat team caherdavin will put out in da cup tonight? or will they be focusing on sunday be a bigger game for them
result bruff 2-0 caherdavin. good win for us we had 5 players back from the team that lost to park tuesday nite and it told. good tough contest between the 2. caherdavin had a few chances near the end from meehan and fudge but bruff finished strong with the caherdavin keeper pulling off 2 v.good saves!
