It's a sad state of affairs when you go through a league season and finish in the play-off spot and come up against a "B" or "C" team, only to find it's full of first teamers. I suspect teams will still field illegal players under a registered players name. Also the referee's have a big part to play. If a referee sees a player playing for the A team this week and the B team the following week, has he a duty to report this to the Mayo League??? It's a very frustrating situation as a hell of a lot is sacrificed by Managers, Trainers, Players, Committee's and Members during the year, only for it to be taken away by a bigger club with a B or C team who don't bother to play fair. It's two fingers to all the honest clubs out there.:mad::confused::eek:
