They're high quality temporary, if that makes sense. The seats are of far better quality that the permenant ones. I think it's the exact same as the temporary stands for the League Cup final in 2005 against Derry. Might provide an unimpeded view on a nice summer's day.Quote:

The proposed 1700 seater stand in the RSC has been mothballed. Projected cost was 2.5m to bring it up to UEFA standards and Waterford City Council baulked when they saw that.
How much did the 2000 seater in Athlone cost?
Not sure of the cost for the actual stand but all the work so far has cost in the region of €4.5 million.
Everything is contained under the stand as per uefa license requirements
