We might have to anyway.....what with all the "facility" stops we will have to make on the return journey!!!!:D

Ye, bus reserved to leave Rimini at around midday and leaving San Marino at 2230. Think it worked out 6-7 euro return...Still hoping some Irish bar might do a bus run instead of somebody here organising it.
The Goblin is a classic Irish pub, where you can enjoy a great draft pint of guinness. The Rimini pub has a lively and friendly atmosphere and serves snacks and typical pub food. Live music is also a popular draw on fridays.
Located on the sea-front, and popular and with live music, The Barge is no doubt Rimini's best Irish pub. Tourists and locals flock here and crowd both floors during the summer evenings. At this Rimini pub there is always Guiness on tap.
As long as they have jimmy and coke I will be happy:D
Yeah was thinking the same meself. The 8 hours was just what the coach company came back to me with.
I'd think with all the rest time between arriving in San Marino and going back to Bologna, we might get a couple of extra hours out of the driver.
Sure we can buy him a nice big dinner!;)
sambu92 apologies for not getting a move on with helping you sort the bus. i have emailed our hotel which at last count had at least 20 fans looking to get to the game, and suggested they run a bus to the game - they seemed ok with it, and will come back to me so will keep you posted.
After the last few results:( might only be the 20+ going from Rimini plus the Bologna crew:D . Our hotel is fully booked so there must be a few more Irish about(anybody else in hotel Ariosto?)
just booked flights with ryanair, car hire with arguscarhire.com and a hostel in rimini, total cost about €130. now, tickets are another matter. I'm on the fai waiting list but does anyone know if this will actually get me tickets? would it increase my chances if my friend also applied?
i'm only on the waiting list for block booking, so i need to know if this will hinder my chances. i don't exactly want to go without a ticket.
though my ryanair flight only lands in ancona at 13:10 on the day of the game, about 80kms away... maybe a big bit risky...
FAO: Anyone staying @ Grand Hotel in San Marino, just want to ask what price you're paying? I just got email from them looking for €185 per night for a room!!! No way Pedro
I can't remember the exact price we're paying but I think it's about €90 a night for a single room. We booked our rooms months ago though. A mate of mine booked a triple room there in the past few days and it's costing them about €50-€60 each per night so for a triple room that would be the guts of €185.
The website said it was E55 per person, as I recall. It's the off season, so it's cheaper.
Cheers lads, really wanted to stay in San Marino for the match, but now gonna stay in Rimini, got the President Hotel for €150 for TWO nights with breakfast, wont pay the price Grand Hotel asked for, and can't seem to find any other vacant hotels in San Marino
The link to the Grand Hotel in San Marino contains three hotels, all in San Marino.
The link's on the away match summary thread.
spoke to a group i met in stuttgart from waterford and they are staying in bologna too. so there are at least 13 people i know looking for abus from there
the rocky road to san marino :) just having problems with the PC at home, just so you know that im not being rude with late responses! tell them we will undoubtedly have a whip around for extra-drinking-hours friendly drivers!
Can someone post the list for bus so if we need to book another one we can?
May need 2 by sounds of it!!
Unconfirmed numbers for coach from Bologna to Serravelle for the match.
Supasparx +2
Bring Back Mick +2
Sligo Hornet +4
Casso36 +1
Saint Tom +5
Tuff Paddy
Ash +2
Total of 23 so far.
I'll moer than likely be staying in Bolonga aswell so if theres
room on the bus theres a provisional Ash + 2
From what I can make out Supa, I think we are going to need a 52 seater!.........mind you, that won't leave much room for the BEER!!.........sorry Moscow Mule, you'll just have to catch the next Bus....I'm sure there will be another along shortly!!:D
I think once Saint Tom gets back to me about the Waterford boys, I'll stop adding names and start to finalise the booking.
The thing is, if there are too many people involved someone is bound to let us down, i.e. be running late or not show at all. Meaning we end up running late or have to pay more to supplement the missing passenger.
I'm willing to pass on the contact details of the coach firm should anyone wish to arrange a second coach.
13 in total guys from me. Anyone any idea at how much were looking at spending per head?
sorry guys, just been in touch with the gang from waterford and they have organised a nine seat mini bus becasue they are travellig from rome-bolona and then to milan. sorry for tha hassle. i'm no down to six seats
No probs. That means we now have 23 people for a 25 man coach. I'm still waiting for confirmation from another 2 which means we should fill it.
With the bus full its going to cost 25 euros pp.
I'll contact them this week and find out how much of a deposit they need and will post details on here.
great stuff supasparx, well organised

I received the e-mail posted below from the coach operators.
As you can see they are looking to debit the full amount from my credit card a month before we are due to use their service, this means 7th Jan '07. After some thought I have decided that all those wishing to travel on this bus will need to pay the full amount to me by 7th Dec '06.
For those of you resident in Ireland this can really only be done by meeting up with Bring Back Mick on the afternoon/evening of next weeks San Marino game, as I cant make it over. Or by posting cash by recorded delivery!
For those who are resident in England you can either post me a cheque (uk Acc. only) or meet me at this months RISSC (London) meeting this Friday.
Sorry it has all become a bit of a rush but if I leave it any later Christmas will be upon us and it will be forgot about untill the new year!
If anyone is concerned about handing money over to me, please PM me and I will gladly e-mail you copies of my flight confirmation and hotel booking for Bologna!:)
Below is a link to the independent tour operators' web site if anyone wants to check them out. I had to go through an operator as the coach companys wont take direct bookings for football supporters!:(

In order to fix a suitable pick-up (or even two) place, why don't you

have some more hotel's names and addresses, so I can figure out which
is the
best place for the wall of you to find the bus!
Please let me know if you have any additional question.
We are lookign forward to meeting and serving you!

As you can see from their e-mail to me all thier vehicles are 'recent deluxe models'. I would hope that means there's at least a toilet on board!;)
I'll contact them to confirm the facilities.
By the way MM whos group are you with as I hope I've not overlooked you earlier on in the thread!
