McT isnt that good anyway. there are alot better strikers out there, wouldnt mind losing him only we are short at the front already. McT wont score the amount of goals we need to do well. Cant see him scoring more then 12/13 in the premier division
I'd rather him than Flannery!Quote:

we do need to buy about 2 strikers! Harsh to say that about McT.
adam hughes was connor's no.1 target, that's good enough for me. obviously it woulda been great if we got sean thornton but be f*ckin realitic doncaster are a sh*te sight better than rovers

Sligo Rovers unveil new signings. Feb 23, 2:21 pm
At a press conference held in the Radisson Hotel this afternoon Sligo Rovers manager Sean Connor unveiled five new signings as the club looks to consolidate its place in the Premier Division.
They are Matthew Judge, 21, a striker who was previously with Spurs for five seasons before joining Luton where he played twelve times under former Republic of Ireland international Joe Kinnear. Judge is a former Irish U-19 International and he has also been called into the U-21 squad on a couple of occasions. Judge has a strong Sligo connection as his grandmother is from Conways Cross and he has several close relatives living in the Riverstown and Geevagh areas.
Striker Darren Mansaram, 21, joins Rovers after spells with Grimsby and Halifax Town. He played 30 games for Grimbsy in the Coca-Cola Championship and scored 4 goals.
Centre-half Jamie McKenzie, 19, joins the club after a spell with Scottish Premier Division side Hibernians. He played for Hibernians in their pre-season tour of Ireland.
Goalkeeper Richard Bush, 21, has joined the club as back up for John OHara and he replaces Alvin Rouse for the coming season. He was previously with Coventry City and was most recently playing with Shrewsbury reserves.
Also un-veiled was former Derby County midfielder Chris Turner, 19, who is a current Northern Ireland U-19 international and he will captain his country in the upcoming qualifiers for the European U-19 Championships. He has also played for the Norths U-21 side.
a striker thats scored 4 in 30 isnt great news...prove me wrong!
in the championship! that's a lot higher standard than our premierQuote:

i wouldnt say its a "lot" higher than our premier of course this has been done to death but kevin doyle has proven to be as similar stature in that division as he was in the eircom premier,Quote:

as i've said hope he proves us wrong and i'm sure he'll do better than that for us
hopefully all the new signings will play 90 mins on saturday! (hopefully Raf plays too)
raf won't play, not a hope
why not? it's probably their last game b4 the season starts....he'll want to play too
really...
i'd say he'll get a gr8 reception alright.
i won't be taking part, bear no grudges.
But if the IDIOT wants to go and play 1st division football for less money, thats his choice.
what the f**k are you like? after all the service he has given us over the years.....he could have left years ago for better wages in the premier division but he stayed with us! I will give him a great reception and i know 99.9% of the showgrounds will also...if he plays!
i'm sorry but i dont think its loyalty to move to a first division club after years of hard work to get us up
he's been loyal enough to us before.....he could have gone 2 a bigger club when we finished mid-table in the 1st division for a few years in a row!
i was being sarcastic. He'll get abused left right and centre! i wont b taking part.
do you honestly think the majority of fans remember hard work and dedcation?
this is worse than alan smith moving to man utd.
He had an excuse(higher league). Raf doesn't.
he's not loyal at all to rovers.
