Seeing as McLaughlin is also leaving I'd have been happy to keep Axel as back-up to Boyce. Granted he largely wasn't great last year (few were), but injuries aside he is a good player. Upgradeable yes but a good player all the same and I can see Wateeford fans loving him.
Darren Robinson looked useful in the minimal opportunities he got but I'm otherwise pleased to see most of the outgoings thus far. Would be great to get even more out the door, however unlikely that may be.

Edwin Agbaje has signed for Drogheda. That’s a great signing, he looked very good for Sligo in the albeit small sample size of games they played since he signed at the end of August

Was very impressed with Mpongo again Longford last season, looks to have a real instinctive nature about him in front of goals, something you definitely could say about Tunde. What's the situation with Maguire and Keating? Both set to stay? Mpongo might not get much of a look in unless they play him wide or something?

Yep, Derry have announced it. Really surprised that he's decided to stay in the league to be honest. Was expecting that if he did it would be with Bohs or maybe head to Tallaght.
I thought he would have went to England or Scotland. A big loss to Bohs but his contact was up and they could or should have tried to keep him. It great he is staying in the league as he is a joy to watch and If Bohs are letting him go I wonder have they got a replacement of equal or better quality lined up.Quote:
