strange to see the view objecting.....how the hell could alan barry be illegal??
No idea Dirk......grasping at straws methinks. Maybe they just dont accept that they were knocked out and beaten by a FAR better team on the day.
question for the boys from the green... can a player play in the FAI senior cup and the FAI junior cup in the same calander year????
ya,the 4 semi finalists go into the senior cup
I have just talked to Frank Gerrard the fairview secretary and he knows nothing of any objection and since he is the 1 who would have to send in the form its quite possible it is bull.Quote:

monster you would have to be a janesboro supporter to say something like that - never "best of luck to the guy", did the same player not score over 25 goals a year for your club for years on end. Then you go on to compare him to alan sheehan - i wonder are you a janesboro supporter after all because if you were you would know that alan sheehan threatened to leave the club on more than one occasion when he was dropped. now who's the club man???Quote:

Alan sheehan has spent his life with the boro and has never asked for anything in return ,unlike some of the other so called true boro players who came looking for this and that..
Ben.. lynch was released with the no annimosity by the boro. he was wished well on his merry way... it seems to me that the only people who sulk are guys who dont get their own way.the boro have had a few of those over the years... lynch did get lots of goals for the boro, but maybe you might ask him if he was "appreciated" by the club for this effort....
Any news on the big game sunday boro v carew...any injuries?
Don't you mean 'Boro versus the Oscar Traynor Side? No pike players and one fairview player - what a joke! How does Reddan get away with it? A back 4 of all centre halves - you couldnt make it up
He gets away with it cos no one gives a toss about the competition. As for the game itself, heard the Boro might be missing a few. Saw Alan Barry getting a nasty one last Sunday and maybe another player or two missing :ball:
its a tough one to predict, think carew might out muscle boro. think it'll be close but with goals, maybe 2-1 or 3-2 to carew
Herad a rumour that the boro could be looking for the game off as they have a couple of injuries - the only way they could do this is if they say the pitch is unplayable. If My sources are correct them Martin Reddan has asked Eamon Heffernan for fairviews pitch as back up as i believe carew are the home side. Can any1 tell me if this is true/false.
can't see him giving them the pitch if the view are playing balla there that morning. With the amount of rain thats fallen, the pitch couldn't take two games
Anyone at the Boro v Carew match i wasn't there but as the rumours have it the ref might as well have had on a Carew jersey
It'll be interesting to c how this result affects both the Boro's and Carew's season
boro still have the munster junior and the league to go for, their season is far from over. I said this time and time again last season on this site that the FAI isn't the be all and end all of a clubs season anymore. Its not the cup it used to be 10 - 15 years ago. Any news on Fairview losing the points?
U may be right, but ask the clubs this morning weather they'd like to be in the next round
Fairview seem to be goin through a bad patch Balla beat em 4-0
New blood is needed in the Lodge
At least the Boro will still have F.A.I football for another round at least
from a nuetral point of view ,no matter how bad the ref was or was not
it wouldnt have made a difference if their was 2 good refs out on the pitch
yesterday.carew were a much better outfit altogether, the beat boro to every
ball and looked an awful lot fitter aswell, lou quigley marked john lynne out
of the game cant remember him even getting a touch of the ball, anyone any idea who the puppet is that walks up and down the boro side line roaring and
repeating everything the manager says...
ya don't think you can blame the ref here carew deserved the win. When is the draw for the next round?
next saturday in waterford more than likely i bet dat pike, carew, balla will meet upQuote:

Fair play to Carew Park. better team on the day...Took their chances very well. Hope that the fai dont fix the draw... what are the odds on pike, carew, versus Balla...me think very short odds. Quick note to carew players,AS & Pmcg, when a player is recieving treatment after being injured by the same players, shouting for him to be taken off is pretty poor portsmanship.Showing Some respect to other players might convince spectators that you are not two moron's.
sportmanship? those two???
Is Mike Ryan gone from Mungret?
He messed up another half descent team

Just heard that the fai junior council have overturned the MFA decisions on the viev V pike and boro. LDMC appealed both these decisions to the fai Junior council. Pike and boro had accepted the Mfa rulings.. LDMC at it again..
By the way Carew park were phoned on sat about a possible Objection againist boro on sunday if things didn't go their way. Guess who made the phone call... all answeres to LDMC jackman park.....
Lou quigley is 28 not very old considering some of the players
around the town.eg. dave brown the boro 34 at least..
