Sad act that i AM, I did count Derry fans from LoITv coverage and 100 was barely broken.

No one allowed behind the goals and no tickets on sale . €24 very tasty for a loi game €18 to gufc if you book online.
Around 50 Sligo Rovers fans at the RSC.
Pity the four Harps fans in the away end last night.
About 12 Bray fans.
I know a lot of grounds have areas behind their goal ends, but I was looking at terraced away ends, that's why I mentioned Shels & St.Pats. These grounds have that old traditional look and when you have away fans it adds to the attendance in atmosphere and colour.
Some of the grounds mentioned above could easily put some terrace behind the goals areas. Again some of these grounds listed above have either seating, grass banks, no fans allowed or closed off areas.
I think Finn Harps were the the last club to do this at the town end on the Chestnut road around 2016. Derry City are in the process of adding covered terracing behind the goals with the new North terrace near the Brandywell road.

So, Derry City are the only club adding covered terracing with the new North terrace at the Brandywell road end with a capacity of 2,500!
They also have a billionaire owner who's got the luxury of being able to do that in a ground they don't own. Not everyone else has that.
From LOITV, looked well over 7/800 Shams away fans in Richmond, nearer 200 odd in the RSC for Shels, good support from Derry, at least 150+, Sligo and Drogs had about 20/30 away support.
I was in TC last night and am guessing about 50 odd Cobh fans spread around the Cross with mainly 20-30 sitting in the St. Annes end.
Too be honest great crowds and away support for this Thursday nights round of fixtures. The weather was pretty good except for Galway!
About 10 UCD fans. 2 or 3 the far side. 4 or so in the shed and a couple up in the stand
About 10 longford in Tralee. Most in away section. Some in the stand

Hi,
I have used 'nigel-harps1954' format from his posts in the attendance thread. The information covers the away attendance figures up until the current series 22 of games in both divisions. Most teams have played between 10 or 11 away games at this stage. The information is based on the weekly detail gathered over the course of the season so far and its accuracy is quiet good considering. At least it gives you some statistics on the numbers of fans that are travelling to away games regularly to support their league teams up and down the country. For me the most notable figures are the Dublin based clubs who have large away support, which is mainly due to the amount of local derbies in Dublin. This makes travelling in larger numbers easier due to better public transport. But, I think all the Premier clubs are well supported away from home, especially the promoted clubs while Cork in the First Division are as expected well supported away from home too.

Fair play. Galway Utd are fifth for home attendances but second bottom for away. We've always had small numbers travelling to games. At least we're ahead of Sligo!
Of course, Cork away on the first day of the season rather skews the Kerry figure, but a decent cohort travelling to the other games, judging by the weekly reports.
