Took in the knocka v glen game today , an absolute pleasure to watch both teams battled hard with the glen taking the 3-2 win , ref was spot on apart from a bit too much time after injury time was up , best game I’ve seen in a while , congratulations to the glen with being down 4 players due to injury to take a win up there with 3/4 of a team , fair play to both teams excellent display
Steviesilvermint and iceman8656 do ye know each other as ye only go to Glen matches. Ye should consider carpooling!
And can someone travel with you on that pass ;) fairplay to the Glen , great result away from home . Dont think Knocka are all they are cracked up to be to be honest . They were ahead twice and couldnt close out the game. Thought the Glen totally deserved their win . From what i heard on the line they were missing 4 starters so the squad was stretched
Ok iceman whatever you say . You dont just get to Glen games , you just mainly get to Glen games and that is fine ;) Your secret is safe with me. I think Knocka are overated . That is just what i think . For me the Glen are a better side than Knocka only that the AUL decided to put the Glen in the first division

Are Leeview B and Knocknaheeney B after calling it a day?
Knocka B definitely gone I'm not certain about leeview B but I think there gone as well hard to keep one team going never mind running two
The number's of teams in the Aul have been falling year in year out and unless something dramatic is done we could be down to under 30 teams in no time
Its very hard realisticly for 2 teams you need at least 36 players to keep 2 teams going properly.
But when a team pulls out it kills sections especially when there is no threat of relegation
Did anyone go to the FAI cluster to discuss summer football in November? Someone told me the aim is a short season next season and summer football in 2020, is this true?
2 teams very hard work but less teams more quality
Most b teams are loaded with guys who just want a game thats no bad thing either ..the perfect thing is an 16s to 18s then 1 team can benefit..but somtimes if a guy gets dropped instead of working hard he run to the b team just my opinion .
My understanding is the aul wont move until the season after the school boys have gone to summer football.
This must be done by 2020 so at least 2 seasons away.
Thats my understanding anyway.

Some interesting ties there
Lads, knock off the schoolyard crap and keep it to football,no more.
I've deleted a dozen posts out of this thread, handed out several infractions for naming and general acting the maggot, and suspended Bulldog for a week for an abusive PM.
I've suspended discussion of Cork AUL on Foot.ie before because of this juvenile nonsense, if it happens again I'll ban it completely. Grow up FFS.
iceman8656 has been permabanned. Anyone else want to go?
The moderator has said that they are "strongly considering pulling the plug on this thread for good".
It's no skin off my nose either way, so consider this your final warning.
Vinny longergan Signed for knocka serious signing for them.
I say pull the plug
I say get rid of the snake, nothing but looking for arguments. Typical of latest post.
Vinny a great player, be an asset to any aul team.
Some result to be fair fair play to them wasn't at the game but couldn't see this result happening goes to show anyones game on the day.
Not sure who's still there but now with grattan and knocka gone leaves it wide open in my opinion
Bohs and the Glen in with great shouts
So who is left in the AOH then?
Thanks for that must have missed it on the aul site. Thats a tough one no call . No stand out team left . Going to go with Village , Temple , Macroom , Coachford. But its purely a guess . Village and Buttevant struggling in their own leagues . Donoughmore doing well in theirs although 1st division . City Wanderers v Temple could go either way . Just going for Temple because they put out Knocka . Macroom should have more than enough to beat Boscos B. Coachford hard to beat at home so I will opt for them in that tie
Any team looking for a game this weekend? P.M. if so.
Anybody know why Coachford Knocknaheeny game was abandoned after 91 minutes?
Heard there was a scrap after a penalty was given late on and then a bigger melee in injury time so ref abandoned it. Is that game going too be replayed now or will result stand as it was so late in game?
