forgot to say that In the Mirror from yesterday it said that we are interested in Danny O Reilly the ex Fulham starlet who impressed at centre back in Oslo.
I have heard of him before but not sure why. Whether we were linked with him before could be the reason!
He was at Bray last year. Played a few games across the back filling in for various players but think he's mainly a left back.Quote:

By looking at the black stripe it seems to stop as it reaches the top so my guess is an all red back.
On Don he was initially in the squad at 9 and he's now disappeared from it.
Im hearing he is still injured so I assume Cousin wont sign him until he know Don is ok and to be honest if thats the case I think he is right, but he should sign on a pay per play basis before the window closes
If he's a free agent can he not join at any time during the year no?
I think he can provided he was a free agent before the transfer window closes which is usually end of February I think.

I always thought Shannon used to just run the ball out over the end line every time he got it. Had very little end product and was too small and light for Premier ball.

In fairness sorbo, what you're calling four seasons is two half seasons, one full and another bit due to injury. Mooney was a dog when he came on loan too if anyone remembers? Next season he was the league's top scorer in a team that was relegated. Don didn't play in enough of games last year to see him perform at the top level. Mooney was never on loan he was released along with the rest of the Rovers squad except McCourt at the time. It took him a while to perform consistently alright but he showed flashes of what he was capable of. He and Alan Mathews took a while to hit it off from what I recall. Mooney apparently wasn't the greatest trainer at the time but he when he got his act together we all remember the results. How is he doing at Southend these days? Another club he and Don have in common.
