Watched Greenmount v Leeview today in the st Michaels cup and saw what I can only describe as the most vile act I've seen in 20 years playing AUL football.A Fella in the middle of the park for Greenmount who likes to put it about a bit (which is fair enough) was bleeding from the nose after an earlier clash (and was allowed remain on the field with blood coming from his nose) decided during a stoppage in play to continue to try start something with 2 different players and as he wasn't getting any joy with his remarks, proceeded to spit blood from his nose at one of the Leeview centre halves whilst the ref was looking the other way. Absolutely disgusting and there should be no place in the game for that kind of carry on. Still in disbelief as to what I witnessed. Amazed that the centre half kept his head to be honest. Any thoughts ?

Its either 2 guys. Big tall lad with shaven head or small stocky guy with huge chip on his shoulder. We played them a few weeks ago and they were a disgrace and hearing what you said enforces that. My money is on the big tall lad with the shaven head being the culprit.

Congrats to Knocknaheeny Celtic on aul team of that month for September ...
Nothing will be done! ref never saw it and neither did any of us except op but knowing the team and certain players on the team its very very very believable.
Greenmount will do nothing to the player either, I hope they do but standards are gone way back by them.
If I was in charge of a team and 1 of my players did that he would be gone and if the rest of the team disagreed they could all go. No need for that in your life!!
Such a scummy thing to do!
So what you are trying to say is that Killer cannot speak about what the Greenmount player(and I use player lightly for him) did as he bit someone long ago.
Its no wonder this country is ****ed.
Typically Irish 'Sur you can't say anything cos you did this or who are you to talk when you did this!!'
And will point out that I have never met Killer in my life so no link between us before ye start saying we are mates!
Fair point one for. Just pointing out that it's hard to take some peoples points seriously on here as they are more "do as I say and not do as I do.
Killer got a rough ride at the time for a poor act in I'm guessing the heat of the moment but he should know better than trying to be judge and jury to another incident that he was not present at.
if the blood spitting happened that individual should be rightly banned but unfortunetly refs are afraid to deal with issues like these in fear of their own safety.
you only have to look at what happened in Dublin last week where the ref was attacked
That greenmount player in question is a thug. When playing against him last year his own players said they hate him when talking to them about his behaviour on the day(wanting to fight everyone he came within 5 yards of). I'm sure someone will go out to hurt him someday and he will get what he deserves.
So now that the season is in full flow does anyone want to revise their picks for each league or offer a prediction for divisional cups ?

Crescent with another good win, fine side can see them continuing all the way up to premier
Great manager to deal with. Always has a good manner about him. Goes to watch a lot of games and plays attractive football too. Would be a great asset to any club in the premier league in my humble opinion. That said I expect he will do it where he is instead

Can I just say what a result for Knocknaheeny Celtic this afternoon giving Park United a hammering. They're a very good side that are showing good signs of taking trophies this season. Between them and Crescent both who were only promoted this season to their respective leagues they'll both take some stopping. Well done to all involved with Knocknaheeny.
Bang on special Juan they deserve all the credit they get it may shut some people up on the premier forum that keep saying their players shouldn't be on the aul team as they are not doing it in the premier division. That aul team is full of park players so I hope more knocka Celtic players get the call up after today. Well done to Mr. Crinnion and his squad. Keep proving them all wrong. Loads of talent in the lower leagues, lots of overrated players in the higher leagues too
Ya great win for knocka really good to see its only the leagues that seperate the teams and in some cases and not talent. Knocka are no fools good see them do this well. I though in pre season they might of struggled with suspensions because I watched them against glenthorn and they were almost all about fighting instead of battling even though they played better and won that game I saw a couple of players with doma couple of bad and heard a lot too. But at least they proved me wrong and it seems to be changed and they can intimidate rather then bully their oppenents! Credit where its due there forming a great side and even though I wasnt there its wins like this one that would push on their season and bring it into evey game because every body knows what park are about top side. Very well done to Knocka be interesting who there next worthy opponents in the cup are.
