I couldn't make the game but one of the lads said he thought it was higher than that. He walked the whole length of the Jodi,as he got into the game well after KO. Said it looked fairly full.

I'd have put Ramblers v Shelbourne at about 400.
2,451 was official attendance. 1500+ was for the Longford game.
2,683 in Dundalk tonight.
Weekend attendances:
Shamrock Rovers v Dundalk - 4,000 estimate on Extratime
Bohs v Pats - 2,451
Galway v Limerick - 1,233
Longford v Sligo - 1,100
Derry v Bray - 1,000 est on ET
Drogheda v Cork - 597
Wexford v Harps - 400 estimate
Cobh v Shels - 350 estimate from Cobh, no official figure.
UCD v Waterford - 169
Athlone v Cabo - ?
only 2,511 in turners cross the disadvantage of having two home games in the one week.
I might be the only one, but I'm a little surprised the attendance was so low in Cork.
We've never really had large midweek crowds. I was shocked at the 3,000 against Galway. 2,500 is still pretty decent, especially when you factor in the Dundalk game Friday, a lot of people will choose that game over the Longford one as they are so close.
Says a lot though that people are disappointed in a crowd of 2,500 on a Monday night.
I thought it was a very good crowd for a Monday game against a team that isn't exactly the biggest draw no disrespect to longford.. maybe some people that didn't come don't have the money for two games in a week and chose the bigger game on Friday
354(!) in Limerick tonight.
1,327 at Sligo-Bohs
How many does Turners Cross hold? It will surely be a sell out on Friday
Id be very skeptical about our crowds not for the first time this season look like a fairly big overestimate. I counted 268 just after half time (we're just that riveting to watch)
I reckon schoolboy passes could be being counted whether there or not.
Ya I reckon about :
50 in the stand
130 on the grass bank and around the rest of the ground against the wall
And 8 Derry fans
Shocking crowd, was like a funeral atmosphere and a shocking game. If Rovers bring over 150 we will be outnumbered Saturday night.
Decided to drive down to Limerick for the game tonight. Poor atmosphere, agree 8 Derry fans, possible that official figure correct if you include folks outside looking at match. Derry far from impressive, but the Limerick keeper was poor in the first half and damage done. Russell fair play to him still wants his team to play a nice style of soccer.
The Cross can hold 7,200 seated officially. We have had close on 10,000 in 2005 against Derry for the league decider. You can factor in the 4 corners as well as the seating. We will def get over the 6k on Friday night. The only problem I have is the amount of seats lost due to segregation, you would think LOI fans would try to kill each other in all fairness. While there is rivalry it's not that bad.
About 1600 at the Bray v Rovers match
Attendance at Youths v Harps was 305.
Yeah, fairly full all right. Of empty seats maybe

So 2451 is probably right then Mr. Passive Aggressive. It's all good.
The rest of the stand looked pretty full from the coverage. The shed looked very sparse, though, so I'm guessing most Pats fans were in the Jodi.
Midweek:
Dundalk v Galway - 2,693
Cork v Longford - 2,511
Limerick v Derry - 354
Sligo v Bohs - 1,327
Bray v Rovers - 1,600
Pats v Drogheda - 1,000 est?
Yeah, past my bedtime and everything, terribly naughty. I don't claim that any stand in Eamonn Deacy Park is ever close to full so don't know why I need to back it up with a photo?
