not sure as that was the first time i saw them.they were ok for the first half but died in the second half. killumney were not great either .i would be safe to say that both of these wont be challeging for trophies this year. but who knows its early days yet and when things settle down maybe both teams will sign a few players

Fairview v glen celtic is pick of aoh cup games this weekend tricky game but I fancy glen to win it 4-1 just have that bit over Fairview...
Prem A gone to an 8 team league, 21 league games, only 3 more than what it was supposed to be but a cup run or two could turn this season into a long one for sides in that division.

Why are two teams getting a bye into the 3rd round when there was the opportunity to get the numbers right with the 1st round??? If there was one less game in the first round we would have had 64 teams in the 2nd round instead of the awkward 62...Quote:

Hi Innish reason for the byes is to even it out from round 2 on . Otherwise you'd be given a bye for a team in 2 round and no one wants that so they even it out in first round so they fall perfect going forward .that would be my take on it

Yes I know it is to even out teams, but the opportunity was there to do this in the 1st round - play two less 1st round game & there would have been the correct 64 teams left in the competition.
It looks like there were 82 teams entered into competition - ideal situation is 64 teams into 2nd round. So 18 1st round matches - knocks out 18 teams leaving (82-18) 64 teams for the 2nd round... But again I guess it could be linked to teams pulling out of league.
Grattan (not picking on them - luck of draw) are into the last 32 without kicking a ball, there are 19 other teams that if they get to the last 32 they will have played 2 games.
