Loving the league this year. So open, Rathkeale still favourites for me but I think Newcastle Rovers, Broadford and maybe Abbey will contest but still really early! Newcastle West to go down and between Athea and Killeaney to fill the other spot !!

Totally agree its shaping up to be a fantastic season. I'd fancy rathkeale too but as you say a long way to go still. If ncw lose to carrig on sunday it will leave them adrift at the bottom
Going back to Carrig is always tough especially for a team who are going through a bad very bad run, If they lose they will be 7 points from safety! Interesting to see how Abbey get on against Ballingarry this weekend, a win for either side will really give them a good position in challenging for the title
If NCW can't win this weekend it may be too much of a gap to close
Ncw have to beat carrig the weekend otherwise they are gone id say
Early days yet, 2 years ago Rovers only had 4 points in February but managed to get 4 wins in last few weeks of the season to force 3 way play-off.
I wouldn't write off Ncw just yet!!
On another note, Oscar Traynor's apparently playing friendly this evening. I wonder what kind of squad they'll have
friendly when ireland vs germany are playin? will there many Be there
Was that Oscar Traynor match on last night? Who were they playing? Any score? Team?
Think it was Pyke that beat them 3-2, heard they played well, created lots of chance, goals from Sean McSweeney and Ray Cahill
Anyone have the team from the Oscar Traynor game?

Mike Neville, Paudie Vaughan, Donagh O'Shaugnessy and Brian howard for the home side. Daniel O'Brien with a great goal and hugh geaney for the visitors. Entertaining game.
Hogan Cup
Kilcornan 1-2 Breska
Pa Byrnes put kilcornan ahead before two ian O'Leary penalties gave breska the win.
great win today for NCW
Any one at any games today?
Abbeyfeale had a great win yesterday, they might actually contest for the league this year, with the catchment area they have they should be every season! It's seems like going back to Abbey is very tough for teams, they have already beaten Rathkeale, NCW Rovers and Ballingarry and drew with Broadford, great results for them.
Am I right in saying there is no matches for the Premier this weekend?

oscar traynor vs regional tonight
Where's that on Fanaticfan?
clounreask i think
How did Oscar traynor side get on. Anyone got the team
it was called off boys. Regional couldnt field a team
Does anyone have the next round pairings for the munster Junior? Also have NCW turned a bit of corner?
Would anyone be able to tell me where I could find a list of past winners and finalists of the FAI junior cup and the oscar traynor cup please. I cant seem to find a roll of honour anywhere online. FAI website used to have it but cant see it anymore. They are terrible at updating FAI.ie.
I think Pallas will be relatively happy to be 7 games into the league and still undefeated especially when 2 of those draws were against good sides like Kildimo and Glin. Breska have made a great start and will be very hard to catch and are almost certain of promotion. I see Askeaton have a good few games in hand, if they transfer their cup form to the league you would have to say that they are still in with a shout but probably cant afford any more slip ups. In Div 3 id say Ballysteen would be disappointed if they didnt gain promotion being the only first team in the division although id imagine Broadford B and Rovers B are decent enough sides. Can someone explain how Div 3 works? I know each team plays each other once but does the top half of the table play a second game at the end of the season or how does it work?
Id say the kildimo and rathkeale B will be a good game
Best Of luck to the oscar traynor tonight
Cork Aul 2-0 Desmonds
Div 3
Askeaton B 1-7 Ballysteen AFC
Great win in the Derby. Brendan Hayes x3. Paudie Vaughan x2. Mike Neville and deccy sommers with the goals
Kildimo unlucky not to get a draw yesterday. Some great play out of the two sides yesterday.
Anyone watch the Desmond match? Or any links for a report on it?
I see there is 2 repeats in the munster junior of FAI clashes. Rathkeale will be looking for a bit of revenge after being knocked out of FAI by Rovers. Also it will be interesting to see how Askeaton get on against Abbey after shocking them in the FAI
This thread is gone very quiet.......

Was just told kildimo might have to give broadford a walk over tomorrow. Because kildimo Pallaskenry GAA have a country final tomorrow and most of there player's will be playing. They tryed there best to get it called off but were told the match has to go ahead. I think that's very unfair
Ah that is a shame. Best of luck to them. Not everyday you get to a COUNTRY final :P
