I was at the Caherdavin 0-5 Summerville match tonight. Caherdavin were good up until Summerville scored against the run of play, Cdavin had chances to go a couple up. Sville went in 0-1 up at half time which was not deserved. Second half Sville defended well and picked off Cdavin with speed. Cdavin centre halves were very slow tonight, After Sville went 3 up it was over. 4th goal was an own goal and the 5th a good solo effort. Cdavin lacked a lot of discipline and had a man sent off, they spent more time trying con the ref diving than playing football. Referee was good and didnt fall of any of it and was fair to both teams.
Who got sent off for caherdavin??
The old fella up front with bits of gray hair. Number 9 on the night. booked in first half for diving then in the second for kicking out at a Sville player. Played against him before and his a liability to them. An act of very poor sportsman ship out there with the diving and at one stage Sville put the ball out for an injured player and Cdavin threw it back into play and their center midfielder ran onto it and it nearly created a chance for them. I know u can play on but its first time i've seen a team continue with it. They got what they deserved out there a good hammering. Wasnt impressed at all by them.
Can't argue with that really. Lish missed 2 very good 1st half chances aswell. We took over after that penalty miss and in the end it could have been worse for ye mate. Our goals came from Ken O Donoghue, Cian Byrnes and Liam Quinn. Delighted to get such a good result in a tough place to play.Quote:

I said at the start of the season Pike would win that league, if Moyross dont get their act to-gether they could get relegated. by the time Moyross play next tuesday they will have 8 games played thats only 2 games off half the season over.
In all fairness while pike are doing well it doesn't matter to other teams since they can't go up. Moyross are only 5 points off a promotion place and its early yet.. 14 games to go win 8-9 of them and that will probably be good enough for promotion as every team are dropping points all over the place ..
Your having a laugh with relegated! Didn't get going last night at all didn't deserve anything out of it, hopefully the injuries stop and we get a bit of a run going, still a long way to go in the seasonQuote:

You're right there. 3 players sent off already this season. Sounds silly but we are not a dirty team and the red cards have all been for getting 2 yellows, mouthing at the ref etc. the player who got sent off on Sunday will be a big loss to us, he has been playing very wellQuote:

MoyRoss were on top in the first half with pike missing 2 sitters in the first half moyRoss went one up near the end of the first half one nil half time pike came out a bit stronger in the second half and got the equaliser moyross missed a few chances which might have went in on another day but it wasn't to be pike pushed on and scored another 2 game was more or less over then the ref today was pretty poor for both side's making some bad decisions but that's to be expected these day's

Some start to the season for pike, lost a few players and still playing well. Hope they can keep it up till end of season. Moyross have been disapointing, many peoples favourites at start but long way to go yet
great start from pike but if you are moyross its the two below them you are chasing.they can not let the points gap get any bigger though or they will be out of the race for promotion.
Why all the concern for Moyross lads??? 11 teams in this division.
Tis goin to be a good league.A lot of teams in contention and again the winter time is when the league is really won depending who puts in the hard extra yards on the training pitch.
With the squad they have assembled and the way they were flying up the leagues, they were surely favs for the league. Finding life a lot tougher now though. Valid point from fairkop, only 5 points behind mungret and summerville
and most if not all these teams have or will be discussed in some form on this thread throughout the season,moyross are many peoples favourites to go up given their recent surge up the divisions and the squad they have assembled,so the inconsistent form they currently have is naturally going to be the topic of some discussion.........must get stuck into granville soon...loads to talk about there?

What happened tonighti must say was a disgrace balla went 2 nil up after 5 mins johnny corbeth dislocated his ankle after 25 mins an ambulance had to be called and balla wouldn't agree to abandon the match which is there decision which i thought was a poor one as it was a serious injury moyross then tried to waste as much time as possible diving around the place tryin to waste time to get the game called off if they just tried to play the match they mite have got a draw a joke in my opinion anyway hope johnny has a fast recovery
