probably met a few more but never got their Foot.ie name.
I can now add John D to my list having met him Wednesday. He says he saw me b4 but that was in limerick and the drink was in so have properly met him now.
My problem with this list is I met a lot of the posters before Foot.ie existed and in some cases don't know their handles. The person I would most like to meet is Magicme cause I saw her in an ELOI Season preview mag and.... ;)
I may have done , but I don't know who you are, so I don't know!!
Ha ha feck off CTID! Chancer! Charm doesnt work on me! Am immune to it.
Would love to meet you tho CTID as you always entertain me. I could hazard a guess that we will be playing UCD in a pre-season friendly so mite get the opportunity then, or at the Christmas meet-up if I make it.
I agree with CTID on Magicme, in that she puts up with awful sh!te from us lot and still comes across like a lady with a bit of grace about her.
Other highly rated contenderrs would include Dodge, Reiteoir and Kingdom Hoop, who might be my (distressingly) male other half:eek:
Aw thanks Mr Beard. If you cant laugh at yourself you have no right to laugh at others is my thinking.
Humbling, unnerving, and yet, maybe also exhilarating.
I trust joie de vivre and a sense humility, juxtaposed with a somewhat incongruous bedfellow, unbending self-confidence, are traits we must share, and of course gleefully leverage to satisfy ourselves. Whichever way...
In order to allay our, mutual, fears of this unsettling turn of events it is imperative we meet on the 20th of December at 16.00 in a dusky city centre Dublin pub. The proof of the pudding will be in the pint selection. I'm dearly hoping you hate Guinness so I can establish myself as a distinct entity, poignantly casting off the destabilising umbilical shackles that bind us like mother and child.
To allay your fears Green Tribe and Sligoman, the fact you were left out is because I have met you already - perhaps I should have said the list of people I have yet to meet.
Dodge - was that you in the pale blue skirt at the corner of Benburb Street that time in March? The rate was reasonable alright, though I think I got substancial more for my moeny than I had intended, or indeed hoped:eek:
While I am not a Guinness man, I had been led to believe that the chief difference between us was that I am the good looking one;)
