Oh no not saying it's wrong, we were just trying to estimate it at the game and all of us said surely 2000, when you look down the length of the stand it looks packed but since it's not a high stand it's hard to judge.

The attendance of 2,105 was Dundalk's lowest for a league game since 2014. Live TV maybe the biggest factor, raining all day wouldn't have helped, but its around 1,400 drop on the last game v Cork, that's mental.
I would guess about 2500 at Rovers vs. Galway
1360 limerick v shels
1609 in Showgrounds.
Nope, it was clear looking around the ground the average would have been down by around 1k. I think March was an expensive month for families, there was a drop in most clubs over this period. I would also say over 90% of ST holders go to all games, either way it was good to see ST holders being scanned.
Live tv was probably still the main reason for the big drop though.
Not a hope smallest crowd I have seen since we have been going to Tallaght . GUFC brought over 200 looks like the honeymoon is over for Rovers although if they keep getting refs handing them games like Paul Tuite on Friday night for their first goal they might win something this year,
The way I was looking at it was the top half of the main stand was full up to the suit, I couldn't see past that, and it holds a bit over 3000 so thats about 1100 I could see. Add the 200 or so Glaway fans then that's 1300ish then there looked to be around 1000 in the East stand so that's about 2300 and add in the fans the other side of the suit, maybe 200 or so that's 2500.
It was a guess but that was my thinking behind it.
Edit: What honeymoon exactly? Rovers have always been one of the best supported and most successful clubs in Ireland and don't point to the Tolka attendances to say otherwise everybody knows there were other reasons for bad crowds around that time.
The refs in the league are **** get on with it. Stupid decisions go against every team in the league constantly, the linesman at the car park end was playing like a fifth defender for you at times so don't complain about decisions. What about the second goal then? was there something wrong with that too? It it ended 2-1 or 2-2 then you'd have a case but it still would have been 1-0 without Miele's goal.
Galway seem to be traveling in great numbers this season. Great to see.
How many clubs actually use scanners ?
