Just read Liam Browne's report of Town v Celtic on Nationalist. It sounds like the most one sided 2-1 defeat you could imagine. So sad to read that Town were so bad and that they couldn't even get up for the battle. Obviously living abroad now I wasn't at the match so I shouldn't comment too much but when you read this, is very disappointing. Fair play to Celtic sounds as if they were really up for it and got a performance to match. I worry for Town
Liam Browne's report? He nicked that from Celtic website so it will be a bit biased towards Celtic. Home team normally responsible for report so I don't know what happened there. Town def second best last Sunday but I wouldn't be worried about them. They have a good set up and they'll be back. Healthy for the game in Clonmel to have 2 big and strong clubs.
Any predictions for Sunday should be a cracking game. 2-2 for me
Clonmel Celtic 1 - 1 St Michael's. Good game of football. Celtic nearly took it at the end with a ball off the cross bar. Micheal's will be glad to leave with a point today.
Great game Celtic just about shaded it top notch save by the Michaels keeper to touch it onto the bar brilliant effort from Ian Fahey.
Sherriff vs Michaels, clonmel Celtic vs city united in the Fai quarter finals
Clonmel Celtic 3 - 1 Clonmel Town
Big game for Clonmel Celtic saturday any thoughts or predictions???
You'd have to fancy Sheriff but as they say the bigger they are the harder they fall.
Come on the Celts!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hws8JGslZbM
Well done to Clonmel Celtic on winning the league first team to beat St Michaels over 90mins ina long time say the final on sunday should be a cracker.
are the boys from fairyhouse still on the beer or are they waiting for the double?
congrats to them, great team all over. some place to win it below in cooke park, they were comfortable enough i hear.
I wouldn't say comfortable considering at half time it should have been 1-1 but for the peno miss(save) and Saints had 4 or 5 decent chances in the 2nd half, but fair play to Celtic, they were dogged to the end.. Cup final should be a cracker
Tipp cup final today should be a good game very hard to call tho best of luck to both.
As expected it was a tight cup final, Celtic on peon's to take the double, fair play to them, looks like all last seasons success took it's toal on saints considering they haven't had a break in almost 2 seasons
Did Saints win nothing after sweeping the boards last year?Same management and squad.Did they get lazy and thought they had nothing to do only turn up.Saw a few games in Tipp this year.Any opinions on what went wrong? Are the Limerick lads staying on?Few murmurs in Limerick they are going back to Fairview but even stronger rumours O'Donnell going there. Will Chalky take over the reigns maybe with Cremins on board?Busy summer seems all round.
no they didn't get lazy only beaten once in 90mins over the season , beaten on penos in 3 cups , hardly same squad with at least 4 players gone from last year , lots of Injurues and to be fair lack of form from some . The core if squad is mid 20s so they will be around for a few more years , good rest this summer is required
Who was relegated from the premier division wilderness and ?
seems to be bit of confusion going by tsdl online tables
Looks like Wilderness and Glengoole are down
