Will be a tough one for Ireland but Italy and Croatia are beatable if Trapattoni let Ireland PLAY

Group B looks tasty

Its all set up for us to beat France or England in the quarter finals.

So we have got teams ranked 1, 8 and 9. (Ireland 21) other groups:-

2, 11, 7, 3

66, 12, 14, 32

55, 18, 15, 5

So two groups of death really and we get the marginally easier one.

So we're in the Group of Papists.

Spain rightly favourites - but cant wait to go up against them....

Italy havent beaten us in 22 years and we beat them last year --- we can do them

Croatia - great team - but their style of play could very well play into our hands

Add in the fact that we will have the entire nation over there supporting us ............Im quietly confidently

Really bad draw. Can't look past Italian and Spanish victorys. Croatia will be a potential team to pick up points against.

We have never lost to Italy under Trapattoni in 3 meetings drawing twice and winning once. Not terrible by any means.

How is Italy a bad draw? In fact, it's the best possible draw from that pot. We definitely have the potential to get out of this group in 2nd place!! :)
