At least partly because the FAI forced you to in fairness.

The fact remains that Sligo are probably spending less than they would have if it wasn't for the FAI's intervention.
Q9.
'Determining an appropriate budget and adhering to this budget is at all times the responsibility of the clubs directors or management committees.'
'We do not set budgets for clubs though as ultimately it is the responsibility of each club to manage their own commercial affairs properly.'
Yes, but not 'forced' as you put it.
From what i heard only two clubs have not had the PFAI in this season, Shams and ourselves.
From what i've been told, Sligo Rovers have a made a tidy enough profit from this year so far.
The best run club in the country!!??
Dundalk didn't have them in. They represented Dave Rogers. But he wasn't a Dundalk player at the time.
I was absolutely delighted to read that Dundalk FC and its' players dealt directly with each other without the PFAI haven been called in and no input from them.
Great to see and well done to the players.
Amazing really that the Dundalk players would accept cuts when the club had only just signed players. Crazy situation.
I've said this before in here and been battered for it but Sligo are paying out massive money and unless the cut the spending, they are headed for big trouble.
Lets see how well you think Sligo are run when you see your 'profit' at the end of this season.
Look, if you know the goings on at Sligo, you will know that someone that has been involved with the club for years, previously resigned because of the spending. He is back again now.
It was him that told me.
If you know who I am talking about, ask him. He isn't shy in voicing his concerns about his club.
On the Dungannon forum, the information on today's court case is as follows:
Very odd that Derry wouldn't have the details today, but there you are.Quote:
The short version is Derry City have to disclose the full details transfer deal to the court by Monday and a judgement should be made by Wednesday.
If Derry are unable to pay, they will then face a winding up order.
