19 year old Watford centre back Ben Wilmot is getting a start tonight v Reading and is supposed to be eligible. Kieran Dowell starting for Everton too. I guess it doesn't matter in either case as the FAI won't convince them anyway.
You certainly need to want to play . Its not as if half interested players are going to be much use .
I suppose its no harm showing that we are interested but there is no point in bending over backwards .

Not sure if this lad should be on our radar anyway.
Declan Rice played in the Carabao Cup on Monday :)
This is a bit of a stretch but I’ll have no truck with that .

Brilliant! That's dragged on long enough but hopefully he will be a huge option for us in the future.
He won't get called up any time soon with an attitude like this...

I am a creative player, I like to make things happen and I’d love to do that with the Irish team
agreed, he is exactly what we need
Good to read that about Crowley. Anyone know if 18 year old Wimbledon midfielder Anthony Hartigan is eligible? Scored last night for Wimbledon and has played 13 games for them so far.
Young fellas speaking about how they've matured always unnerves me a bit, I'm sure I've read similar comments from Jack Byrne, for example! Luke Shaw another player who seems to talk the talk every so often, before losing his way a bit again.
I'm not saying that's the case here, great to see Crowley doing well in Holland. I was watching some clips of him on YT earlier, reminded me a small bit of Lubo Moravcik, albeit not as two footed, so maybe he can be a MON player.
Was told about Tottenham's Dennis Cirkin last week, and forgot about him until today. Born in Dublin, moved to England at three, and has appeared for the England U16s: https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/tea...dennis-cirkin/
Wasn’t there talk of Cardiffs Sean Morrison playing for us at one point when he and Alex Pearse were at Reading together?
He has said, I'm sure, that he is ineligible to play for us.

Interesting quotes from Zaha regarding his international career and choice of Ivory Coast. A sentiment that should be bottled for Declan Rice.
I wonder if MON has called him to get the ball rolling. He will need to get his passport etc so i doubt he will be involved in October
I wouldn't be surprised if he has the passport already. The paperwork with FIFA might the issue. If he held talks with MON a year or so back there is obviously some line of communication with the FAI and someone has surely had the cop on to get the ball rolling.
If I was MON, I would have made it my business to have positive news ready in relation to Dan Crowley. eg I've talked to the lad and the paperwork has been filed
He will have to deal with "bad news" questions on Thursday in relation to Rice and probably Arter too
Do you two just follow eachother around replying to eachothers posts?!
I can only speak for myself but yes.
Havent posted on here in a while - mostly due to the Stutts/Del love in.
Disgusting.
I feel dirty giving thanks. I violated myself.
Crowley played full game against feyenoord in draw today he has been ever present in their nine games. I really hope that paperwork is in progress.
