called off or not playable = no game still by the ref!! same thing no ! ya there were togged off in all but kilumney could have easily got dressed again and went to the pub for the day but they didnt they went training instead and that not commitment no !! come on 3rdeye
your not getting the point my friend!! The ref had no choice in the matter in fact he was angry he didn't get to check the pitch!! The groundsman called it off after 20 mins before hand said it's playable that it's the refs decision !! As far as I know both teams were unhappy about it after getting togged off!! As a neutral would of being great game to watch!!
Who's left in the aoh lads??
Lads is that aul game still on tonight , Hopefully we might get a round of games this weekend weather meant to be better this week...
Cork aul 1 cork city u19s 7
AUL were good in the 1st half then Donal changed it to 3 at the back. Ashton and Bowedren were able to adjust their team, bring on a couple of the big guns....... game over. That was the difference tonight. 4 4 2 is the way to go. AUL were much much more comfortable that way. A few of the players were saying the same as they passed us. Incidently AUL were 1 up at half time.
Does anyone have the cork AUL team that lined out tonite?
team in first half was
jason on goal
graham carroll (LB) vinny lonergan , james o leary (CB), tony carroll (RB)
dean kelly (LM) cian o driscoll, dave linehan, and patrick long (CM) colin hickey (RM)
gary nolan (ST)
Second half 3-5-2
Thomas butler (GK)
tony carroll (LB) james o leary (CB) vinny lonergan (RB)
colin hickey (LM) cian o driscoll, howard coakley and pa long (CM) paul byrne (RM)
Ivan Skillington and gary nolan
(I think that was the second half line-up open to correction )
Fella from Blackstone was Dave Linehan, went over on his ankle after 20mins and had to go off. Disappointing for the lad.
