Never really understood all the flack that O'Shea gets from some folks. I think he handled the media well while he was interim considering they absolute farce that was going on with the manager selection and agreed that HH clearly finds him in useful. Would love to see him take on a club and be successful.
We have a fair few Irish managers doing well at the moment such as Keane, McKenna, Carlsley and Andrews to name a few so the more the merrier. All possible future manages of the national team and just as we need to improve our development of young players, we need to improve our potential future managers and coaches

To be fair, apart from handling pressure conferences, O'Shea has done absolutely nothing to suggest he should be added to that list. If he goes out and earns his crust in the real world as a club manager he'll get as much respect as his teams' performances deserve, just like the others.
