Which of course isn't an option as the college authorities won't have ye.
Funny that the suggestion which caused uproar a while back - Shels and Bohs groundsharing - is being mentioned seriously now. (Though maybe with non-retarded ground plans)
No me either, although there was an option put to Home Farm to develop their ground with the help of the FAI/Shels, which would then to used for underage internationals and they turned it down. We would have been sorted with a nice 4/5,000 seater and they declined it instead to keep their ground as it is!
I think the "groundsharing" suggestion you are referring to was Ollie Byrnes plan to buy half of Dalymount for 2 million while there was an offer from Danninger for 60 million to buy the ground ? Do you really need to have it explained why Bohs membership rejected Ollies offer ? (although an explanation on how we f****** up the Danninger deal would be appreciated )
Incidentially when rejecting Shels offer Bohs did make an offer to Shels to move to Dalyer on a tenant basis - with along term contract if they wished. this was rejected by Ollie and he said he would only move to Dalymount if he owned it (expletives removed :o).
Hard hat on first of all before I comment. Is there any possibility Bohs could work with Fingal? Sp. Fingal went bust, Fingal seemed to want a club for the area. Could both work together like Shamrock and the SDCC?
Surely there's a difference. Bohs have their name, fans, history and tradition.
in fact i think Bohs did thump on that particular door but FCC pretended they werent home.
Fenlons take.

I have to say I agree with comments of no sympathy for Fenlon. It's not the first time he's been involved like this.
What a vague thing to say.
While Fenlon should not be overly lauded for his successes given the budgets that were handed to him, nor should he be vilified for accepting budgets and a wage that were also handed to him by clubs that he was at.
People need to get real.
Fenlon does not set the budget and if he did set the budget then the Board have alot to answer for.
Managers are responsible for on field activities, finances lie with the Board, its not overly complex.
Also Fenlon is the second most successfull manager in LOI history, great manager and a gent.
Hearing rumours that the vultures who were rumbled by the right thinking members at Bohs in this thread last march are going to now get what they wanted - Dalymount on the cheap. A shame the true Bohs fans couldn't stop these individuals and their friends being the ones in power at Dalymount making insane decisions on budgets etc. The ordinary members and fans at Bohs just woke up a few years too late to the reality of what was going on at their club.
From a personal point of view I hope they don't cease to exist but a homeless 5-10 year sentence in the first division before coming back to the premier in a new home would be a suitable punishment.
How is this going to play out - what is the event(s) that will bring it to a head?
Don't forget misuse of umbrellas.
If Bohs get the boot to the first Division, who replaces them,1.the beaten team in promotion play-off(Galway)or 2.next team in first div.ie Limerick
