Great way of chatting to people. Some lad gave me a beer when i enquired about plugs for charging my laptop! Went to Burger king and got chatting to a lovely Italian girl who offered me some chips! Human nature is amazing....
Apologies to anyone whose email address I have, my account has just gone mad and sent a message to everyone from what I can see and I would bet it is a spam/virus type.
Dont open it please and again I am sorry!
my head hurts
Yikes. My email account reaches far. getting bounced back messages from TV3, RTE & Meteor to name a few. So raging.
all you are is trouble
So I have been told!!
Stuck in Stansted for the last ooooh 26 hours at this stage. And another flight delay to Dublin too. Beyond cruelty at this stage.
you're like viktor navorski:D
Am worrying whether my cousin and her family have made it out of Gatwick. Waiting to hear back from her mum.
It's great watching everyone slip on the ice...
My cousin got home, got a christmas bonus and work has just closed up. Oh happy day!!! Yoooooooh!
"**** you Deputy Stag".. most unparliamentary language :D
Happy Festivus everyone. I suggest the Feats Of Strength take place at http://www.funtrivia.com/tournament/...nge-86537.html, I don't think there's any shortage of places for the Airing Of Grievances.
I wish I wasn't working tomorrow, would love to go on the beer tonight!!:(
Was back with the folks for the pre Christmas weekend, before travelling to the US yesterday. All nearly went @rse over t!t when the Monday night flight to Luton was cancelled; had to talk the nice Aer Arran people into letting me on to a flight they rated as full for first thing in the morning, and just barely had time to get Christmas presents packed for travel before having to run for the transatlantic job. However, I'm here in sunny warm California now with blades but no razor holder things, only the one pair of trousers, and other scattered missing things, but everybodies presents, and decent weather, and a minimum of added costs by not not having missed the transatlantic flight.
How are things going Pauro? Any joy on the flight front?
Think I mite be single again. feckin men and their moody ways.
Work today is going to be the biggest exercise in clock-watching ever...
Im clock watching aswell today.I've had 5 customers since i opened.Going home in an hour though:).Then im going to get more ice skating practise in on my way home on the paths.
Sorry to hear that Magicme. There are a few decent ones out there.. and loosing them ones hurts the most. But, when I say a few, there really are many.. it's just that there are a lot more erseholes about, which makes it seem like we're in short supply ;)
It feels so wrong to give what could losely be termed as advice to someone with more life experience in the subject.. but hey, it's only because I care.. and because it's the 'say anything' thread
One hour of work then it's to the bus station and home to Derry :) :) :)
Stevo, I know well that there are loads of great guys and am not too bothered to be honest coz he was not the big love of my life or anything, I was just more annoyed about his rudeness than anything else!
According to norad santa tracker he is in "Londonderry (Derry) Northern Ireland" now. Scotland next. Am getting so excited!!!!
Ah sure the auld days are gone forever
Longford cathedral completely gutted by fire. Over 150 years of history gone. Very sad but at least nobody was hurt.
Yeah St. Mels' Cathedral in the town. The only historical building the town had.
Lough Swilly is a cold place for a swim on Christmas day.
Wow, what a wonderful Christmas. Amazing day with my beloved extended family, late nite singsongs and game playing and my fella has gotten over his moody strop (all coz I chatted to 2 random blokes about football apparently so he thought I was flirting! Me? Flirt! How could he think that!) so all is well in the world.
Hope you all had a wonderful day.
I hate when Irish people call St. Stephen's Day 'Boxing Day'
And I hate when people complain about calling Boxing Day Boxing Day if they feel like it.
Who made that decision? People can call it whatever they want, not just what the bible bashers decide have decided it's called. Personally I tend to use them interchangeably.
There's no reason for people to get bent out of shape about it. Unless there's some big old handbook on being an Irish person that I missed. Or is it because 'Boxing Day' sounds a bit English?
