I agree. But this is the FAI. And I guarantee that if Brady and Giles are appointed there will be no mention of words like International consultant. Stuff like co-managers and dream ticket will be mentioned

Bit of a gamble on Coppell again today, Powers were 16's earlier today, now 11/2.
Who is on the shorlist as it stands at present?
Mark Kinsella, Jason McAteer, Denis Irwin, Tony Cascarino:rolleyes:
What about an Eamon Dolan / Rico partnership :)
What about Stephen Ireland with Sir Stanley Matthews as his assistant?
that is an interesting slip from kilane , is he saying that delaney has let him know who it is ? surely they cannot go with brady ? getting depressed at the thought now.
Hodgson took the fulham job there today... surely we can offer a more attractive package than fulham ffs
Altogether now ...
BOLLÓCKS.
Disaster
Extremely disappointing, and the natural first question is whether the FAI ever even approached the man about the position.
Lothar Matthaus being earmarked for the Bosnia job along with Niko Kranjcar's auld fella. Surely he is worth consideration on his playing pedigree alone. Has had some reasonable successes in management and is a man with a wealth of different experiences underneath him.
What a player btw!
Agree that lothar would be worth a chance but he has to improve his english and he is still in dispute with red bull salzburg , his track record has not been good, at the first sign of trouble he is usually off!but if we want someone with pedigree then he is our man!Delaney get the finger OUT!:)
Lothar Matthaus is a headbanger of the Highest order who pretty much leaves a trail of destruction in his wake wherever he goes (Partizan , Hungary & RB Saltzburg shall not be issuing references. Atlético Paranaense Still want to know where he is, as, after accepting the job in January 2006, he left his office saying he'd be back in a few days. As of Today, He hasn't as yet gone back to collect the furry gonks off his desk)
I personally think he's Venables, with a slightly better pedigree and less of an annoying laugh, but Venables nonetheless.
Glenn Hoddle is in from 30/1 to 9/1 on Betfair. :(
