Yes it would be.
He is a good player, will break up play. His downfall is his passing is sometimes loose. Would be a bad loss to Linfield although thankfully Jamie Mulgrew can do everything Gault can do and can go forward to.

heard a very strong rumour today before goin to work this mornin that jamie duffy is rejoining us from dundalk... no word as of yet on robbie farrell..
Derry rumoured to be after Ger O'Brien and also George O'Callaghan has apparently been whoring himself to us about a loan move.
Duffy was good for us in 2007 in the Premier Division when we had him on loan so we'll hope for a return to that form.
Farrell wasn't fit at the start of last season and it drastically effected his performances, then he came back stronger and banged them in, sorry to see him go, was a huge presence for us in the last quarter, had alot of confidence, neat passes and tricks and excellent finishing.
Duffy is the most frustrating player to watch, always cuts in and tries to take the ball around a player one too many times.looked really good at the start of the season, same as Davie O'COnnor but both really disappeared after 10 games or so!
Alan Kirby is signing for Sporting Fingal
Linfield only have a few full-time players, and train during the day with the NI womens team, jeffries has a job and only takes training in the evening with the part-time and full-time players.
Obviously this would help a bit with fitness, but hardly what you would call full-time, in regards coaching and progessing the players skills wise or as a team?
Im surprised they havent went full-time, but they seem well able to stay ahead of everyone in the IL the way they are so why would they bother spending any more money on players to go fully full-time.
Michael Collins has joined Dundalk from Newry City.
Can't wait to see "Mental Mickey" in action.
