Who's making excuses like?? The vast majority of Celtic fans I know have long realised that we have exceeded expectations and are aware that as long as Celtic are in a poor league like the SPL, then there is only so far you can go.Quote:

I reckon fair play to GCFCs marketing guy for roping in so many 'fans'. Thats just good business.Quote:

By that do you mean the "armchair fans"? Because every team has them. The fans that go and watch the games are no different than anyone else, they pay their money so what's the problem?Quote:

It doesnt make me a better person, but i cant for the life of me understand how a person could have any affinity to a club with which they have no connection.
Like many people, I enjoy sitting down to watch a match, sometimes even head to the pub to do so, but it always make me laugh with sympathy to see grown men down the pub, wearing 'their' teams colours to watch a game.
As far as I see it, Celtic is a bandwagon- which Irish people are only too happy to jump on.
In an utterly apalling twist of fate, I was actually bitten on the ass the day after last summers Celtic vs Fulham friendly. :( I can fully vouch that the two experiences were quite different and there's no mistaking one for the other.Quote:
