:(Jaysus I'm feeling a anti Tree Hugger mood here:p
Don't think I have a hope of getting anything tonight against the Alberts considerig the poor form of my players. Only three starting players 14 or over! :o
I'd take a draw if offerd now, against Provos, some of their match ratings in the two matches so far have been through the roof.
Two 7 rated players with form of 15 put in 6 rated matches - go figure.
If Provos keep their form up, I think we could see the end of Alberts title streak.
Happy to secure my first point tonight:). Worringly, three games in and still no goal though.
That's what I like to hear with you the opposition on Saturday.
FOUR, FOUR, FOUR, FOUR!
Worryingly, given our shoddy defence, you'll probably pick up a goal or two on Saturday - we're leaking them in everywhere at the mo.
Three still unbeaten. Provos showing good form...
I hate this game:mad:
Just looked at your squad....its fackin terrible  A 7 rated 35 year old, a 6 rated 33 y.o, 4 rated 23 yo, and a 4 rated 21 yo, jaysus. Get rid of the sh!te and get in some half decent players with good SQ's. All you have is a couple of FreeKick experts, and Long Range shooters.
Dreading todays match. the Xpert gods are conspiring to hand all my teams a drubbing this week. 4-0 and 4-1 so far. Looks ominous :o
Landenstown Forest - Pants AFC 1 - 3
Provisional SRFC - Drunk Babysitters 1 - 4
Wexford Boys - Flynny Alberts 0 - 2
Sligo Starlets - Sligo Rovers F.C. 1 - 2
UCD AFC - Burton Albion FC 7 - 1
Jaysus, Provos team suffers a form collapse of biblical proportions?
UCD, Carlsson 4 assists, Mushi 4 goals. Best performance by an 18yo 5 rated forward I've ever seen.
For us, Borgstrands scoring spree continues, 12 in 13 and he hasn't even got his "heart" skill square yet.
The only SQs worth getting are free kicks (for free kicks) obviously and cool as ice for penalties. Have them as your better players and you're sorted. SQs are way overpriced, may as well spend the same money on a player with a higher skillbar.
It seems you have loads?
Anyway all you have to do is get your players form to 15+ and you should be sorted.
Bout time my season started. Savage performances last two games- just need to keep it up over a whole season for a change. 2nd still the target.
4 assists from Redondo last game, this time four from Carlsson. Wonder whose turn it will be next...
Disagree. Intelligent and allrounders are great too...eg. Geladaris' ability to get high ratings in midfield, and get assists when put there. In one of my other sides, I had a midfield freekick expert out injured and had my defender with a "hard shot" SQ take the frees....he's so good that the freekick "expert" no longer takes the frees. Also the "greedy" SQ is handy, one of the reasons why Pearcy is one of the best defenders in the league. Theres a reason why Alberts play "through plays" coz Callenmark is quick.
Solund (Smart, Hard Shot SQ's), Janson (AllRound, Aggressive, Quick SQ's) and Borgstrand (Header, Goal Instinct SQ's), the three of them cost me a combined total of 1.3 million - hardly overpriced, given that they'll likely all be 6 rated 21 yo's at seasons end, Solund may even make it to 7 if I can keep his form where its at.
Looks like the Empress is going to have to be re-named the Dowager yet. -dfx hasn't been around Xperteleven for over 10 days. I hope he is alright, anyone know is he on a holiday or something? (In which case I am hoping it lasts until Sunday next. No rush before that, mind.)
I think I read somewhere on the thread that he was away for my game but not sure bluebeard.
Great win tonight:p
Great win indeed. Your forwards ratings were excellent. The form of your players must be improving?
Kinda happy with our draw...****ed off that Camoranesi went off so early to be replaced by Janson, dulled the threat from midfield and dragged down its ratings. :( . Endre Ward had a good match - just might have saved him from the transfer list.
Yeah the forwards form is picking up alright. Burton up next, hopefully take something there as they've not started great and then that should put some space between myself and relegation(assuming Provo's and UCD can do the business against the other relegation candidates).
Given the poor performances of his forwards lately I decided to play a few youngsters in defence, which I wouldn't usually do away from home.

Yep, away for the last two weeks returned today (wish granted, oh Bluebearded one :D). Our form and ratings were good and now it's in a mess..
Though flight out on the 13th, so
(a) Burton Albion 0-2
(a) Pants AFC 1-2
(h) Landenstown Forest 2-1
(h) Drunk Babysitters 1-4
(a) Flynny Alberts 5-0
Not a bad pick up of 9 points from that lot, especially at the Pantywell. By the DB game, the injuries to Boyle, Davidsson and Cobh all not being returned to the side took its toll.
Pants AFC - Flynny Alberts 1 - 1 (1 - 0)
Wexford Boys - UCD AFC 0 - 2 (0 - 0)
Burton Albion FC - Sligo Rovers F.C. 1 - 1 (0 - 0)
Landenstown Forest - Drunk Babysitters 1 - 1 (1 - 1)
Provisional SRFC - Sligo Starlets 6 - 0 (5 - 0)
:( fcukin own goal with 12 mins left.
I really don't know where some of these ratings are coming from
Good to know I can leave out the old reliables upfront with confidence now if I want.
Sligo lost me steno's 300,000 by an injury time equaliser
As you were in the top 4:
Pants 2-1 Starlets
UCD 0-1 Provos
ALberts 2-0 Forest
DB's 5-1 Albion
Sligo 2-0 Wexford
Special mention to Loftys htting 8 today against Arrow Harps
Workman like performance from Pants today, managed to give Solund a wee run out today, Thilderkvist makes only his second appearance and nabs a goal.
Happy with the win, shams up next.
The 'Xpert Eleven' team is very green...good manager though;)
Maybe with that starting XI, you might bring silverware to Sligo :p
Great win at UCD to hold out from early on and great clean sheet. Boyle injured AGAIN.
Well beaten by UCD. Simply created more chances than us and took them. Their player ratings were excellent. 8 of the first team 26yo and under  - Alberts successors?
Form starting to drop throughout the team now, form training having little effect - even on the young players
2-2, happy with that:) Although shams hackers injured one of my defenders:mad:
Elisson  Everyone else was fine but him
Glad other results kept us second and especially valuable win at UCD looking at their 3-0 tonight
1,376,000 econ from Fergal Harte new doll enterprise and 600,000 from the Pools though :)
Flynny Alberts - Drunk Babysitters 4 - 0 (2 - 0)
Landenstown Forest - Sligo Starlets 2 - 0 (1 - 0)
Burton Albion FC - Wexford Boys 1 - 0 (0 - 0)
Sligo Rovers F.C. - Provisional SRFC 0 - 3 (0 - 2)
Pants AFC - UCD AFC 1 - 0 (0 - 0)
Silverspjut and Davidsson step in
On a sidenote, in my Xpert Team yesterday, I crippled the 16 skilled goalkeeper of the no1 manager in the game and XCL favourite for the rest of the season... :o
Lads....how do you resign from a team? Want to get out of one of the leagues. Twice now I've been denied promotion because of league restructuring, and want a new challenge.
Going to be some amount p!ss taking on the training ground this week after this:
'Stevie Miller came home and found his girlfriend in bed with Leslie Gelsthorpe. The two ex-mates now have a frosty relationship which has affected their form negatively.'
dp, there should be a resign option in the team settings two weeks either side of the skill update..
:oQuote:
Barra Valentia accidentally left a petrol station without paying yesterday, and was 5 miles away before he realised. Panicking, he returned to see if he could sort it out. Fortunately, he got there before the police arrived and paid for his fuel. As it was clearly an honest mistake, no action was taken, and Barra Valentia continued on his journey much relieved.
Soundly theeeeerashed today - heaviest defeat in quite some time. Absolutely no answer to Alberts midfield and forward line.
Sligo Starlets 1-2 Provisional SRFC
90th minute equaliser and 96th minute winner in a game that we should've had won. Slight title challenge was staring down the barrel..much weaker side with Debbi and Killaloe and fourth different striker partnership in four games...Phew!:o
UCD on fire at home
You held us to 1 for 67 minutes though - I was beginning to think that you'd snatch the late equaliser this time.
Three major blows for the next game - Shannon injured, Kilorglin and Konda suspended - at least Konda's suspension coincides with injury, so there is still someone smiling on the Alberts. Must win game for both us and the Provos.
A must win for us given the Goal Difference and a must not lose for Alberts or we might get another outburst of Norwegian (?) :D
