Sligo H, are booked into hotel in Podg yep, but we are considering running a bus from Budva - Podg on the day, have about 12 takers so far, but wondering if there will be a big enough demand to fill a 48 seater for example.

I'd certainly be on for a bus. You could put us down for 7:D..would ya have the bus returning straight back to budva after the game? IF we won it would be good craic to hang around Pod with the rest of the fans? What u thinking?
As GT said the bus is just something we are considering at the mo. We need numbers to get an idea of whether its possible and to see if the interest was there - Times etc havent been sorted at all yet. Will keep you posted on it all though.
5/6 us more than likely would be interested. Wont be able to confirm for couple of weeks yet though.
In fairness to babysis and GT, more than interested doesn't pay for a bus. Not havnig a go mayo_bhoy at you necessarily but there are a lot on here who sound like the kind of ones who would say ya, and then you go organise a bus and they dont show, leaving someone else to foot the bill.
BTW how far is dubrovnik from pod? I hear its about 60 yoyos in a taxi?!
Paul you should look at the Bust from Dubrovnik to Pod as we have a bus organised and its 11 euro return and we have 4 places left on it.

Believe me i would not be in that category. I oranise all our away trips and know exactly what a hassle it is trying to collect money etc. I was just expressing an interest in case anyone else organises a bus later on when i have confirmed numbers.
Without having to read through 13 pages with a hangover on a Sunday, can someone advise me if I wanted to book now whats the best way of getting there. I think ill take the week off work and take in both Montenegro and Georgia.
Would really appreciate good information.
Fly ryanair to Riga, spend a night in Riga and then fly to Tiblisi with Baltic Air. You can then get the return from Tiblisi to Riga with Baltic Air again. Baltic Air also fly to Talinn from Riga. Getting to Talinn from Dubrovnik with Estonia Air is the key then and you will arrive in Dubrovnik on Tuesday. We have arranged a bus from Dubrovnik on the Wednesday and there are 4 places left.
Flying home is up to you but Aer Lingus fly from Dubrovnik to Dublin and Cork I think.
So
Thur 04/09/08 Dublin - Riga (Ryanair)
Fri 05/09/08 Riga - Tiblisi (Air Baltic)
Sun 07/09/08 Tiblisi - Riga (Air Baltic)
Sun 07/09/08 Riga -Talinn (Air Baltic)
Sun 07/09/08 Talinn - Dubrovnik (Estonia Air)
Wed 10/09/08 Bus Dubrovnik to Podgorica
Now,
Wheres the party after the game, Podgorica or Dubrovnik?
How do you get back to Dublin?
Back to Dublin from Dubrovnik with Aer Lingus on the Monday and I am staying in Pod the night of the game but a good few are heading back to Dubrovnik.
Thanks for the info Neil
€800 for travel. Throw in hotels food and beer money and id say your talking €2,000 as well as 6 days off work. Will have to think about it.
Yeah with these things you need to get in early. You are very late getting on board. I got all that for about €480
I know yeah, ive only just decided Id go with or without company. You snooze you loose I suppose.
Did you book as soon as the fixtures came out or when?
Yeah I did, booked straight away. I always book as soon as I can.
Have you booked the Italy game yet or do we even know what City its on in yet?
kingdomkerry we booked FlyLAL DUB - RIGA on 5th September think it's still very reasonable last time i looked. It goes via vilnius
http://www.flylal.com/en/index/flights/search
don't worry paul o 'shea, we'd try and get the money up front. It could've happened in san marino but thankfully there was demand for the bus
they are just 2 connections, the first one at 830am would be tight, although as it is through the same airline they would prob wait, at the time it wouldn't let us book the 830am connection(maybe time restrictions) so we are on the later connection leaves vilnuis about noon and gets to Riga about 1.30pm, just have a bit of a wait about vilnius airport between the 2 flights(time to sleep/eat)
Also if the flight from Dublin gets into Vilnius and it is possible to get on the 0830 flight i'm going to ask can we get on it. No harm asking
sligo hornet, i'll just sleep on a floor somewhere. Not the first time i've slept in an airport :D
Just been searching around and remembered I got tickets for the Germany game on eventim.de
Found the same website for Serbia & Montenegro
here is the link I'll be checking every week up to the game to see do they have any tickets for sale.

Hope they come up Trumps again :D

GT, I think Paul said he was staying somewhere "10 minutes walk from the Podgorica Stadium".....................http://www.hotel-excelsior.hr
10 mins walk :D
ya im staying 10 mins away but that will probably take ye 20 mins so Ill just give ye a headstart and have an extra pint while ye trott along.
I have been let down by the fella supposed to be going with me, he has a project going live and has to be around. So ill be on my todd for this, which is annoying as we planned a mini trip....
was just wondering if you were in budva and needed a bus seat.
Mayobhoy ------> check yer PMs; Are ye still needing the seats on the bus?
If yes, PM me exact numbers and contact name and number
Thanks
The venue for this per FAI website City Stadium of Podgorica. That's a surprise . Time not yet confirmed. Stu, maybe put up on Summary Thread.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Podgorica_city_stadium
Capacity is 17000, tickets will be like golddust if the locals come out in support, id expect 5 - 7k at this, and 2 - 3 k in Tiblisi, and 300 - 400 in Oslo
