Fair enough - the Kildare MB wasn't far off. Had seen it as "pathetic", which is why I took it out.
278 is a good attendance for Kilkenny!
I know you don't take the Star's opinion but just saw it there and they reckon 1,000 at Pats V Bray last night! Just throwing that in there for reference! :)
Fair play to the fans that went to the game last night.. they are real fans :) supporting their club no matter what!! :D
Zero, because we wern't in the First Division then.Quote:

Looked about 900 at the RSC tonight against Longford.. terrible attendance
What was the crowd like at Dalyer tonight? Proberley Dublin City's biggest crowd of the season. Will they have to give half the gate money to Bohs? Or some of it anyway?
RTÉ Radio reported a paying attendance of 540Quote:

Pretty decent crowd,I thought - 1,900? I'm sure Chippie'll be on later with the official figure; oh, wait, it wasn't a home match......Quote:

nah 600 is too little.. that would mean half an empty stand.. no way! 540 paid.. while a good 200 ticket holders attended.. maybe 800 at the game.. I hope we dont have attendances like this all season.. bloody disgrace :(
Star had attendance as 520 so Im thinking its in and around that number. Left side of the stand was practically empty
WLR stated that only 580 people paid at the gate, which doesnt include season ticket holders who were in attendance. My guestimate : 750
Are Waterford planning to moved from the RSC? Waterford seem to be a club with loads of potential fans but I could understand people staying away from the RSC as it is a terrible football ground. Would love to see you doing well.
They are starting work on a new stand in the RSC soon i think!Quote:

710 at UCD-Shelbourne. Presumably, the FA Cup semi between Chelsea and Liverpool at the same time didn't help. Next home game is against Sligo - be interesting to see the crowd for that.
400-500 at Harps-Cobh.
The new stand with a capacity of 1700 is expected to start later on in the year after the submission of plans to the Council.Quote:

Didnt make the Athlone vs Kilkenny match last night due to work but Ash texted me saying about the usual there. So about 300 for yet another 0-0 draw.

I think the Shels Dublin game was close to the 1500 mark.
The main stand was fairly full and that holds under 1,800 or 1,900 or something and then there were a 100/200 in the Ballybough end ?? Think it was closer to 1500 then 1000 anyway.
And as for the best supported club in Dublin :)
Shels have played Longford at home on Paddys night !!!! and Dublin City. Id imagine the crowds will increase for the teams who actually try play football. ;)

710 for a game between two teams who allegedly have no fans still adds up to our biggest crowd of the season.
68 at Kilkenny City v Limerick F.C., 16 Limerick fans

I think I have 35 for Monaghan v Cobh a couple of years back.
RT - the UCD figure is not official; it's based on a headcount.
