All results and updated table here...
Think Coonagh actually won 2-0 not 3-0
It was 3-0. And those tables are wrong. Someone cant add up right.
You were perfectly correct there was an error in the table, this was not due to poor maths skills on the part of the LDMC but on a glitch during the site update, it was corrected a the next update, which also includes ALL divisional tables and fixtures for next weekend.Quote:

Star vs Corbally
Coonagh vs Wembley
Caherdavin vs Balla
S'ville vs G'dines
H'stown vs Croom
predictions ? Star v Corbally draw, Caherdavin's pitch to defeat Balla.....in the cup, Coonagh v Wembley draw at full time, S'ville and Herbertstown to win
my mistake i thought they were all league games.
im going to go with Corbally against Star
i dont think the pitch will have anything to do with Caherdavin beating Balla.
the cup should be the last games played so that if teams are safe and not in the running for promotion it will keep their interest going for the season.
all home wins in the cup
Think Corbally and Caherdavin will win the league games.
Gonna go for Wembley, Summerville and Herbertstown in the cup.
Division 1A Cup
Coonagh Utd v Wembley Rvs, 11.00, Coonagh
Summerville v Geraldines, 11.00, Portland Park
Herbertstown v Croom Utd, 11.00, Herbertstown
Errea Div 1A League (Sun 19th Feb)
Caherdavin v Ballynanty, 11.00, Greenhill's
Star Rvs v Corbally Utd, 11.00, Lee Estate
what are your predictions Abbeyvale ? Tough game for your lads this weekend....

All LDMC games are off this weekend see the website for further details www.ldmc.ie
Just joined this site but notice people from Star and Summerville are very much to the fore....For what its worth I think Star will go up with anybody from Coonagh to Corbally...
No game can be taken for granted...Too many teams capable of taking points off each other...
My prediction for the cup is Caherdavin/Coonagh or outside bet of Herbertstown...Fancy Dans of Wembley will not be up for it and Star Corbaally too interested in League...
:p :p :p
Good oneQuote:

What did their squad look like? They have lost the majority of their best players. Think they will be happy to see out the season and stay up if they can.
[QUOTE=gaidin]They should stay up alright, Croom are more or less gone now and it would take Abbey to win 3 or 4 of their remaining 7 games and hope Balla lose all their remaining games.Quote:

Hi
All the results and tables are on www.ldmc.ie
I took in the Caherdavin game yest and the pitch was in great nick its a pity i cant say the same about the teams.two poor teams caherdavin struggled against 10 men for most of the game but won 2-1 in the end.Quote:

Was at that game myself. Pitch looked good alrite. Thought it was a dirty game though. I know there is a rivalry between these two teams. But some tackles yesterday looked like the players were deliberetly trying to hurt one another. Could have been more than 1 red card. Caherdavin looked the better team though. Although with all of Ballas problems thought they were gonna be a lot worse.Quote:

nice call on the star game!
fairplay to balla they gave them a decent game i saw balla at the start of the season and of that team id say only 2 maybe 3 were playing yest.some tasty tackles going in alright especially the 1 that lead to the handbags between the 2 teams and some moron in a brown jacket from the balla side.highlight of the game was the balla player being sent off for punching a caherdavin supporter, talking about letting your teamates down.
Ya have to say balla battled away. The guy getting sent off was funny alrite. Especially because he didnt even punch him. He threw about 3 air punches that were no where near the guy. But the ref definetly had to send him off.
Summerville 3 - Geraldines 1.
Scrappy match - typical cup tie I suppose, nil all at half time, and Summerville missing a few regulars. Geraldine took the lead with a break away goal, with a great finish from the edge of the area. Summerville equalised with a goal from Tom Monahan because of some great battling. Pat O'Neill came on and got the goal to put Summerville in the lead, and Colin Gorey got the insurance goal from a headed corner. Good second half performance from Summerville, and then holding on for the last 7 or 8 minutes.
ha ha go on shannon:)Quote:
