connor doesnt go that way
we always sign players we never heard of;)
Sean Flannery,Kieth Foy,Chris Breen(when we sign him),Gary Hamilton......
we knew them wild rover
I see Carlos is back in town. Anyone know what's the story with him?
He's training with the squad for a few weeks trying to convince Sean Conor to offer him a contract.Quote:

there will be five new signings named. two we already know the names of (FOY/ TURNER). i have being informed by a very reliable source that the number of new players definately signed is 5. however i do not know the names of the other three. looking forward to the announcement though. can anybody give the number of players that we will have including the five. thanks
We'll have 18 players in total. When you think about it though, that's only the starting 11, the 5 subs and only two to spare:o.Quote:

ya i think he has signed back...or less he is close to signing
he can be a good squad player for us , give him a chance i think he could be a good asset for us yet.
carlos is not close to signing.he has gone on loan up the north until july.glenavon i think??he scored 4 on his debut in a friendly but is still a rovers player.
we're playin glenavon in a cupla weeks too. i think carlos has plenty of potential&was improving everytime he played as the season went on. i wouldn't write him off yet.
dublin city have made offers for 2 of our trialists(peers&treacy i'd say). they wana sign for rovers&are impressed with facilities etc. but it's all about money in the end. the aim for the squad this year will be 14 full time& 4 part time backed up by u21s, if needed. once again this aim can only be achieved if we get money in soon.
he has signed for them on loan

According to the Glenavon website he will be returning to Sligo in May for the eircom league programme :rolleyes:Quote:

ya heard that too.
why play for dublin???money money money.
Well Peers is from Dublin so it might be handier for him to play with a Dublin club. But this new proposal that's looking likely will knock Dublin City out of the Premier for 2007 in my opinion so he should choose us:).
EDIT: I'm not saying we're guaranteed into this new league either, but we have more of a chance than Dublin City anyway.
maybe they dont know about the new proposals
i doubt they would
how many teams will not be let in??
I heard a whisper, that one of our local players is far from happy with the offer he previously accepted, and wants a new offer.
If thats the case, there could be a shock exit. That could be the reason the press conferance was postponed.
McT or Raf?
I think I know who you're on about and if true, then it'll be a big blow to the squad:(.Quote:

It's not Raf! Unless that's who Redzer is on about, but it's someone else who I heard about .Quote:

Think I can safely say that Treacy will not be signing for Dublin City, seemed to make an absolute mess of the friendly he played last weekend. Had a shocker.Quote:
