FAI Connect app usually on the ball with attendance figures since the restart, but very little updates from there this weekend. Pity, going to be back to the bad old days of chasing up people via email and social media soon..
Haven't seen anything from the Bowl, but and estimate would be 550-600.
Thought it was more than the Derry game, but not much, and certainly smaller than Sligo. Probably didn't help the game didn't get the go ahead until after 5pm.
That seems a very high crowd for Pats (5,002), granted must have been 1,500 or so Bohs but still seems very high.
Did Pats get over 5k last season, also what is the capacity these days?
1,150 Bohs which is the capacity of the away end. Capacity is a couple of hundred over 5000 which has been reached a number of times over the last few years.
The game was sold out on Friday but naturally with all grounds, there’s always a number of people with tickets that don’t attend and aren’t included in the attendance of course
Extratime.com have official attendance figures for all the games this weekend.
Not sure why they're not updated on the FAI Connect App

Some disappointing drops in the 1st division in attendance this week. Expected Galway and Bray to pull in more.

Thanks Nigel for keeping this going. Some big crowds there right across the board.
The 4 Dublin clubs removing UCD have an avg of 4,747, add back UCD and its 3900. Pats / Bohs / Shels all showing big increases.
Dundalk with 3,132 is a little under the PD avg, but it just shows the surge in the PD, and its great to see but I wouldn't be counting on our crowds to push the PD avg up, around the 3k mark will be our lot come end of season, if we can maintain that well and good.
I’ve seen 3 different figures for Finn park on Friday night now,1501,1401 and the Connect app has 1316! Nearly sure I heard 1401 on the night but who knows….,
Louth derby sold out on Thursday.....
I've been a member of Foot.ie almost 7 years now,was here under under a previous handle for about another 7 years(lost the log-in deets for that a/c ) and was a lurker for about 4 years - Attendance averages shown above look almost foreign compared to the attendances that we were reporting "back in the day" . what a change! Just Brilliant
My thoughts too, would have thought the First divisions average would have been the average for the Premier when I first started going to LOI.
It has been said around the place too, it doesn't seem like this is a hype train either - like a one-off cup final with great marketing - but an overall increase in core-support.
I also wonder, would this increase the temptation for more clubs to try and join the LOI, like grassroots pressure to change the Fai structures, since LOI is becoming more viable?
The tweet from Dundalk about it said they had sold their total away allocation, so presumably full capacity has been reached.
Shamrock Rovers announcing less than 500 home tickets available for Friday. Another 7,500 crowd incoming at Tallaght.
Never thought I'd see the day a 10,000 seater stadium was actually required by a LOI club.
2,193 at Drogheda v Dundalk
Crazy in this day and age we have Premier Division grounds with such low capacity limits across the league.
Facilities need developed and developed very quickly and significantly in this country if the game is to go anywhere.
1,610 at Cobh v Galway….
7,674 at Tallaght for Rovers v Pats
Bohs v UCD - 4,017
just over 5,000 at turners cross
Will be interesting to see how the rovers attendances hold up after the car crash continues away to Dundalk and bohs, half our crowd have only experienced success
Athlone v Treaty - 721
No official attendance at the RSC as of yet but it's much lower than our previous games, good bunch down from Bray however, a solid 50 or so.
1,423 at the RSC.
Were many rovers fans in tolka today to support the women's team? Couldn't see any on TG4.

Seen that tweet earlier. Are they Rovers fans behind goals in away end?
