You do realise that this is a fans forum and the people who comment are not players or managers of opposing clubs?
So it makes no odds if Caulfields comments wind up a bunch of fans. There is no evidence whatsoever that his comments have ever gotten to rival managers or players, the reverse is probably true though...
Waterford In
David McDaid (Cliftonville)
FORAS: "John, you've made yourself look a dope in the media again, how are we to deal with this?"
A very long pause...
JC: "Could we pretend I was playing mind games incredibly badly?"
The assembled audience look on in awe. He's done it again. High fives all round and the world continues to turn.
Mind games! I suppose our quietly spoken chairman was playing mind games too when he going on about signing Greek players or bringing in CSKA's bit players on trial... :D

It's been said on Harps forum tonight that Paddy McCourt has signed for the club this evening.

Derry signed Alon Netzer, an Israeli centre half
Keith Cowan is out injured for the season. I'd imagine he could well be signed in the hope he recovers miraculously before the season end, he was featured at the league launch in those cardboard cutouts of the players in the new jersey. It's highly unlikely he'll play any part this year though, as he has an operation in a few weeks and around 6 months of recovery after that.
Josh Mailey is in college in England since September. Flew over and back for the last couple of games last season. Would imagine he'll join up in the summer.
It's official

thats a mad one
How many minutes will he play before packing it in?
really looking forward to seeing him in Tallaght with Harps, he will get a good reception.
Hope he gets fit and lights it up (except in Tallaght :) )

Another signing for Limerick
McCourt looks like a 47 year old.
Yeah he can as far as I'm aware. He may well actually be registered too.

Rimvydas Sadauskas signs on loan
Ryan Swan signs for Exeter
Hes not a panic buy at all. We're not paying a penny for him, and we're only gettng him because his club wanted to send him here. John doesn't think hes ready for the first team but thinks he might have potential with full time training. Very good chance hes back in Lithuania by mid season, no chance he is anywhere near the first team for the first six weeks at minimum unless we get a blast of injuries/suspensions.
Don't know. Was excellent for the first half of 2015. But only scored 2 goals after Europe, and struggled for form last year too. Full-time training will help obviously, but it's not certain at all. That said, he has a chance of game time at Exeter I'd have thought, which has to be better than being in a development squad
: )))))
