So the new season has started. Glen bearing coachford is a little surprise for me. Have glen sorted the problems from last year or are coachford getting steadily worse? Anyone at the game?
Great result for carrig they sent out a massive statement.good win also for kilreen will be looking forward to our clash Tuesday night with them. Will be a very tough one for us. 1for & scaffa pulling out the win also. Who was on the score sheet for ye scaffa ?. Very surprised at the result in coachford & glen Celtic wasn't it the 2nd team from last year that's now A ? Shock result unless there pulling it together again.
Dillons Cross Athletic v Glentorn Celtic A, Silverheights Pk, S.O’Connell went up to this game this morning to check out glenthorn and i must say they played well not the same team as in the last game of the season agaisnt grattan but still a good enough team to compete 4 nil to glenthorn when i left dillions look like a young team didnt trouble glenthorn all that well clom forde scored a wonder goal he created HIM self could he be there abouts again this season for the golden boot again on another note i watch a game yesterday and this morning and i must say the reffing so far has been top notch ! met and had a chat with 1for up at the game and he also praised the ref at there game yesterday too long may the good reffing countine
Great start for us carrigtwohill yesterday with a few lads missing . Knockra away next sat on a side note ref was very good also ☺

Good start is no good can they keep it going for the year is the question ?
change in refs seem to have benefited the AUL league going by posters on here but still a few hamsters of refs after coming back from the MSl !!! after loosing a top ref in Gene to the MSL this year along with the ref of the year Dan  !!!
Hi lads,
Not a bad response in the opening week to clubs sending on scores, scorers, minutes of goals and pictures from the games.
Keep the info coming guys and we will do our best to provide a comprehensive results service every weekend.
As the season progresses we will add interviews, previews and a lot of new features.

To be honest we are very lucky that we have some very good refs and that we should be very happy with standard of refs we have I've played enough friendlies and cup games in other counties and have seen some very poor refs and they meant to be the cream of the crop and most teams that travel to cork to play are always complementary of the refs . So all in all I think we do ok . Just my view and ye can argue away
All one way lads kilreen 2-0 up
2-1 lads half time Pearce came back into it well kilreen should have the game over
2-2 kilreen bad defending
Micky cronin sent off two yellows
3-2 gary OShea .. He went over to the Pearce line to rub it in.. A bit harsh shouldn't of doing that but then again when the Pearce team gave him stick Saturday when kilreen played greenwood, as they say [ the clock always turns ] don't think gaffer be happy about that.. I'd like to see what barthez has to say about the game ?
The o Shea brothers both scored 4-2 it ended up
springfield 2 vs 3 village good win for the newboys of the premier good game down in cobh tonight 3 points away from home always a bonus ;)
Lads very sad news.......Tom Tully passed away tonight .
I'm shocked at the news about Tom. Great guy. RIP Tom
