No response to the Shane o Byrne signing chilli? Must be still hiding behind your keyboard trying to think of a smart comment.
3 degrees must make him quite thick indeed, and how good of a player are you chili to say you'll hide behind a keyboard and slag off players? He won't be a squad player IMO anyways, if he stays fit will be a huge signing for Killreen and will help bring trophies.
Took in the Kilreen Coachford game on Saturday. Entertaining game played in great conditions. 3-0 Kilreen, could have been more really.
Coachford looked like they were short a few, only the one sub and they also had a good few young fellas playing, so not sure if this was a true reflection of their best 11. They battled hard but were lacking a bit of quality. Their keeper played well and their taller centre fielder showed a few good touches.
Kilreen looked strong. Big at the back, commanding in the air. Good holding centre fielder, linking the play, although he was lucky to escape a couple of tackles without a booking. Very quick up top, created a lot of chances. Hit the woodwork twice (two great efforts from hala I think his name was). They missed a few easy headers from a couple of corners not to mention a missed pen as well, could of been 6 or 7, but fair play to Coachford they battled to the end. Kilreens keeper didn't have much to do, but made one super stop in the second half going in to his top right hand corner.
First time seeing Kilreen play in a long time and they look strong. Nothing won in August obviously but they'll be up there challenging this season.
What way the groups looking lads?? Kilreen and inishvilla qualified or am I wrong
Kilreen played 3games won 2 0 loss and 1 draw equals 7 PTS with a plus 7 goal diff
innish played 2 games won both games leaves them with 6 PTS with a plus 2 goal differance
Street played 3 games draw 2 and lost 1 leaves them with 2 PTS with a minus 1 goal diff
coachford played 2 games 1 draw and lost 1 leaves them with 1pts with a minus 3 goal diff
Macroom played 2 games lost both games leaves them with 0 PTS with a minus 5 goal diff
so if innishannon can pick up at least a point against Coachford they are through Kilreen already through

Was a good game of ball thought we might have earned a draw but it was an all round good game with both sides playing some fine football . Kilreen like to play ball and we always try to play as well . Kilreen have a very good squad and should challange for all cups this year .as for ourselfs we hope that we can come up out of prem a . Any idea when draw for quater finals are on
You could be right whose through from each group
Killumney Utd A 2 Grattan Utd A 2, killumney should have won this one they were well on top for the last 25 min and should have scored in that time but fair play to gratten they dug in and defended well. but some of their players look unfit and could struggle for the rest of the season. kilumney could do with a finisher as they did create due to gratten getting tired
Was good game inishvilla played well fancy them to do well premier a

glen celtic 2 vs 3 pearse celtic great game of football tonight between these two teams
park 4-1 winners against village utd
Cathedral Celtic 2-1 winners against killumney
So who is through lads from each group ?
Big result out of cathedral tonite. They done well last season in the weaker of the Div 1(s) and got promoted via a playoff . Haven't had the best of starts to the season but tonites result confirms my belief that the Mossie is used as a pre season . That aside Killumney look like they are in real trouble! They won't be relegated but they will challenge for nothing
Just want to congratulate donal Lyons on finally playing premier football after training with every northside team and for them to not accept him it looks like pearse Celtic gave him a chance...cork aul team next for ya killer b
Hes actually signed for the b team and was called up last night cause dey were missing a few and the manager thinks hes good enough and in fairness he played a big part in pearse winning had to play up top for the majority of the second half on his own after the sending off caused the glen defence all sort of problems and set up the equaliser too that was against the team most fellas tipped to win prem aswell think he proved he can play that level last night to be fair, fellas are very quick to slag on this.
am i right in thinking this is the mossie line up for the 1/4s
pearse v village, park vs glen, glenthorn vs innishvilla, kilreen vs grattan
What is the rule so he can use b players whenever he only has 11 because if your stuck for players in September come December he will be struggling more for players..
Whats the problem with a b team player getting the opportunity to progress onto the a team if the manager believes hes good enough? Heard killer had a great game last nite and fair deuce to him
