I've always found Eurosport commentary to be a bit subdued and low-key. At least they're not taking ad breaks during game-play. I remember Eurosport did that during a live game once.

I think Eurosport do football right, even in German and Russian, they're tv commentators, which means they don't need to talk all the time. We're conditioned by "commentators" who figure they're more important than the game. Ireland are playing some nice football.
the czech midfield is non-existant.
Very close effort skims over the Czech bar after some great play by Carruthers to keep the ball.
Carruthers having an excellent game. Very skilful player.
Great first half from the Irish lads. This second half is more worrying. They seem to have sit back a bit and let the Czechs back into the game which as history will tell us, can lead to disaster. If they keep up the pressure, they can bury these boys.
1 - 1 now
Balls. 1-1. Header at the back post from a free-kick.
dammit, should have put that out for a corner
Damn 2 v 1 to the Czechs
Ack, 2-1 to the Czechs. Great goal from distance but should never have been allowed the shot in.
Deary f*ckin me. I spoke too soon again.
good goal, great strike, time for the lads to show what they;re made of
i think its their own fault for not trying to close out the gamae and scoring again. we are far better technically than them.
Would it be right to say if they beat Romania they are as good as through?
Dissappointing. The Irish curse seems to seep down to the underage sides too. We look to clearly have the beating of these sides but we sit back after getting an early goal and allow them to play football and before you know it they're in front. By which time any ideas and creativity has evaporated and we're reliant on smashing long diagonal balls into the box which the keeper can easily deal with. After the first 45 minutes it looked like the Czech were fairly rattled too. Like I said dissappointing but we must show some more mettle against these Romanians in the next match.
Just saw the fine goal Robbie Brady scored today for Hull V Liverpool on SSN. Pity he's not in Romania . . . . . .
Not sure about the language, I think its Russian

"Hopefully Ireland will be eliminated from the competition so he can come back to us, preferably injury free. "

Am I right in thinking that Greece¨s win over Romania means we are guaranteed to go through if we beat Romania, and if Ireland and Greece both draw on Tuesday?
If Ireland and Greece both lose it´ll be complicated.
Is our next game on Eurosport and at what time? I´m in Mallorca but there are plenty of sports bars with Eurosport.
While I´m on: Is Rovers´ game on Weds on RTE and if so, what time? There´s an Irish bar with GAA on TV so they must have RTE.
(Tets or PO´S, or anyone with my mobile no., maybe you could text me the answer...)
doesn't look like it's being televised, not on setanta or rte anyway
It doesn't seem to be in the listings yet but Rovers' game on Wednesday will be live on Setanta. Presumably the freeview channel.
I only saw the first half of the match yesterday and the start of the second half but we looked very comfortable. Had to leave just after Kane Ferdinand came on but it seemed like a very defensive move and it seems we lost control of the game soon after. Then again, if it had worked we'd have been praising Doolin.
There was an interview with Samir Carruthers in Saturday's Herald where he said something along the lines of "I'm new to this being Irish thing." He also revealed he and Derrick Williams are training with the Villa first team too. Williams seems to have an interesting story too: he was born in Germany to an Irish mother and moved to Tramore when he was 7, which just goes to show there's no accounting for taste.

For once I'm going to be optimistic and say we can beat the hosts. But the next stage is as far as we'll go.
:(
Romanian television and Eurosport 2 are broadcasting it: http://liveonsat.com/LJ_foot_I_uefa_jr.php
I don't think RTÉ are showing Rovers' away tie in Copenhagen. Danish TV3 are though, I believe. Maybe you'd get a stream in an internet café. RTÉ will be televising the home leg on the 2nd of August however.
game is live tomorrow on Eurosport 2
game is 5pm Irish time
