The majority of Sligo fans last night were shocked that we have dropped our Ticket Prices to €20 for Familt Ticket (2 Adults & 2 Secondary School kids). €12 for adults, €10 for concessions,€5 for Secondary School Kids and all accompanied U12'S go free. We have targeted increase attendances at games and the extra numbers have actually increased our revenue in the first 3 home games. We have sold close to Double the number of season tickets also.
Good stuff gufct, I`m pleased its working out, its amazing what a little bit of work can do. Our crowd last night v UCD was 1,950, with a promotion deal having a big impact on the attendance which was around 300-400 up on the first game v UCD last April (and we were top then & unbeaten, compared to 6th now and having lost the previous game)

This is the kind of stuff we need to be doing more for games where away support is low and that are tradtionally lower attended. Every club (well, most) should be looking at this actually as we all need to sell the product better.
Another excellent offer from DFC was €10 all seats/ground tickets, but only if bought this week, for the Cliftonville Setanta semi on April 18th. That sold very well I was told.
Say the new stand was 2/3 full, that means only ~600 people were needed in the rest of the ground for the official figure to be right. With Sligo bringing ~400, that seems about right.

Between a 1/4 and 1/3 were Rovers fans and Galway fans seem alot more likely to come out against us because of the "derby" tag than the likes of Bray, UCD, Drogs etc.
