You could sign another amateur for a couple of weeks of course (no transfer window for amateurs), but then I assume it wouldn't be straightforward for him going back to his local club?

Only a few weeks left in Local Junior league, anyone good enough isn't going to leave their club before the chance of winning the league. Anyone from outside the area will be looking for a few quid. Doesn't help that Salthill,Mervue and ourselves are all drawing from the same pool (or should that be puddle?).
if they are with a junior club they cant be signed until June 1st I think it is. Any player unregistered or released before the last transfer window ended would be allowed signQuote:
